  1. They are also very comfortable for extended listening. And you can apply a (reversable) mod to get a bit more bass https://www.head-fi.org/threads/akg-q701-simple-mod-increase-bass-and-decrease-soundstage-a-little.607019/. Also they will benefit from a better quality cable. I've very happy with mine. GLWTS.
  2. Further information: A great little DAC with a sweet sound, with 5 built-in digital filters you can select between to adjust the sound. Supports up to 384k PCM and DSD 256. Includes remote and original packaging. Note this is the original Sankskrit 10th, not the Mk II (reflected in the price). Australia-wide express shipping will be $15.
  3. Further information: A great little DAC, familiar to many who know their Schiit.
  4. Further information: Used on my headfi gear but no longer required after upgrading to an amp with a linear power supply included. Includes 240v power cable and other cables as shown Photos: (last is stock)
  5. I purchased these on a whim in a sale but prefer the sound of my open back AKG q701s. The condition is "as new", I've probably only used them for a couple of hours. They would be a great set of headphones for commuting or to block out family noise (or avoid annoying the family). Note these are the wired version. Carry case included. Review at https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/bowers-wilkins-p7.16674/ Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  6. You'd need three, because any three points lie in the same plane.
  7. May I humbly suggest that if you are looking for good value audio enhancers then a bottle of good Scotch is hard to beat 😎
  8. Item: Schiit Modi Multibit Item Condition: New or Used Looking for a reasonably priced Schiit Modi Multibit (Mimby) after being a too slow to act on the ones sold on SNA recently.
  9. I'm skeptical although I know otherwise intelligent people who swear they can hear a difference. My theory is the act of bending over to lift the cables caused wax to shift in their ears 😀
  10. Wouldn't you want to wrap them in tin-foil to stop the re-bar magnetism from affecting (or effecting) the sound?
