  1. Great sounding amps. Had 2 pair and should never had sold them. GLWTS.
  2. Had some of the old Technics amps. Suv6x and the 8 and they were bloody good amps.
  3. I have heard both and was expecting to be blown away by the ls50w and ended up prefering standard 50s. I have to admit though that the Ws weren't ideally positioned for width.
  4. Hi, Are you Northside or south Brisbane?
  5. Hi, Have been busy today. Sorry for the delay. ttys, Darren.
  6. Item: Yamaha AS1100 Location: Sunshine Coast Queensland Price: 1200 Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Not using Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Bank deposit. Extra Info: Still has 23 months transferable warranty and original packing box with original working remote. Pictures:
  7. Hi Jojo, I ordered some of the Obbligato on Monday. Thought it was worth a try at that price. I have a Yamaha AS1100 amp and Micromega mydac with the Jamo's. The overall sound is quite organic and the tonality of the Jamo's is very nice. There is a chance that the Obbligatos could overly ripen the sound, but if they do I'll just get some Auricaps.
  8. Thanks Cello sweet. I had some old Solen .10 uf from an old Maggie 1.6 crossover and bypassed the tweeter caps on the Jamo . Well I can tell you the difference was immediately noticeable and for the better. This is what has convinced me to replace the entire cap. Thanks for your advice. Best regards Darren.
  9. Something to ponder. I have used Auricap before and really liked their neutrality and clean signal. What are the characteristics of a Jantzen cap?
  10. Thanks for your help. I thought it may have been 4700 pf.
  11. Hi fellow SNA members, I would like some clarification on the value of a capacitor for replacement on my Jamo D570. It is the tweeter cap at the top labelled 4.7k. I would like to replace them but am not sure of their value in uf. Any advice is appreciated. Best regards Darren.
