thanks guys this  - i'm currently with a naim uniti at 50w, or an old musical fidelity a1 at 30w. With the naim the proac studio 125s I have are deep and warm but lacking in a little sparkle and detail - sounds like the PMCs are worth a listen

Item: Neat motive 3 bookshelf speakers and stands, some cosmetic defects not affecting performance

Location: Melbourne

Price: $500

Item condition: good - some cosmetic blemishes to corners as seen in photos. One of the rear plugs has been lost along the way and replaced by a cheap stand in. Drivers and tweeters flawless and function perfectly.

Reason for selling: gone to floorstanders

Payment method: payment on pickup, bank transfer, PayPal

Extra info: I've had these for a good few years and they matched my naim source and amp beautifully. The metal tweeter is fast and detailed and airy and the bass surprisingly deep and accurate for such a small box. A few dings on the corners from moving along the way and a replaced rear plug don't affect the function but are definitely noticeable up close

I'm not sure if my last post worked...anyway, i'm a current Naimuniti/Neat Motive owner ( past system was Musical Fideltiy/ Royd) and while it works v well its a bit too cold a sound for me at the moment...so joining to find out how to warm up my sound.
