So I'm trying to sell these headphones as a package with all the accessories I received with them. Contains the original headphones + Adapters and also the Vegan Earpads (currently attached) and Focuspads and leather headband cushion. I have also attached the original headband and pads. Also comes with the Hifiman HE-Adapter which retails for about 100 dollars or so. This is used to attach the HE-6 to speaker amps in case your headphone amp can't handle them. I haven't used the HE-Adapter though and can't comment on it's functionality but I've read good things about it.
This is the description from the original seller:
"Very good condition, a few tiny imperfections on the cup -- I think manufacturer error (ex. one looks like a small bubble under the paint), paint isn't chipped at all, imperfections aren't visible unless I look closely at the headphones (looking back I can't even find them). Headband has slight wear on the underside of course (mostly the stickers actually). I've always removed the cable and stored the HE-6 in its box after use. Smoke and pet free house.
I've done the fuzzor mod with soft felt which sound even better the regular fuzzor mod (I also found the regular fuzzor mod changed the sound, but the soft felt does not). I've also taken the cotton out of the earcups (again, same sound, simply an upgrade), but I stored the cotton separately in case you decide to put it back in."
He didn't include some of the items in the sale (HE Adapter, Vegan Earpads etc.) and I had to purchase them seperately from him for another 120 USD.
Overall a great set of headphones and I'm not 100% certain I want to sell them but if the right buyer comes along, we can talk this through.
A lot of people say these are better than the LCD-3s if you can find the right way to power them! Oh and the HD800s.
