  3. You are looking at a really nice pair of Phillips 9710 fullrange alnico drivers these are among the top end of vintage speakers, if you’ve never heard a pair then you’re in for a treat, they need a good solid box, you can use a vented enclosure, but many have used open baffles and even horn enclosures they are in fantastic condition, one cone is a different colour from the other this was not unusual, it is not from sunlight!as these have lived behind fabric their whole life until recently I am loathe to let these go! But I need to raise some funds, if they don’t sell I wil
  4. These are two pairs of tweeters by plessey-foster which became fostex these are both 8 ohms and can be used together, the horn driver will go up to about 15 k, but the bullet will go way above that! so really a tweeter and super tweeter, these bullets are famous and are much better built than the new version the ft17 you could use a wide range driver crossed over to these to produce a nice high efficiency speaker Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved

  12. These came from an amp I had eons ago! It was a push pull el33/kt61 variant amp with ef37 input tubes, I ravaged the amp for its massive redline outputs i don’t know how these tubes will measure, that’s why they are cheap hard to find these tubes these days! So sold as is! 13. You are looking at a nice pair of 8 inch kef b200 drivers, these are the version suitable for sealed boxes, I was going to use these to build a pair of two way speakers with either the t52 tweeter, or the t27 ala the kef kit one you could build a nice sealed two way! Kinda like an ls3 5a but with more bass due to the bigger driver. 14. This is one of the finest CD players ever made! It is built like a tank, as soon as you go to lift it you realise this thing means business. 22 kg. plate alloy, quad dacs, 19 regulated power supplies twin power transformers, Sony transport, the volume control is a cost no object series of relays switching a ladder of reikenohm carbon composite resistors, no one could afford to build one like this again, this is a genuine 240 volt Australian model, one of only four brought in to Australia. working perfectly this is a killer CD player I have had many high end CD players and this
  15. These are a matched quad of pure copper foil coupling caps suitable for many push pull or single ended amps, these would be perfect to upgrade a leak stereo 20 or something similar, this is what audio note uk used to use in all their top stuff Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad w
  16. These are really nice tonearms for the money! they have really high precision bearings in them, one has the carrier for the cartridge, the other you could adapt a diy head shell to it i was going to use one of these on a Goldring gl75, as it is about the right ride height for that platter comes with arm rest and solder block to go to rca work really well with shure v15 Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, y
  17. You are looking at a pair of the genexxa pro lx5 speakers that were sold by tandy the original speaker was a corian box sporting a silk version of the ribbon dipole tweeter, it was a crazy design, Tandy saw the genius in this and bought the rights to produce them, they made them more affordable by using a die cast box and a different material for the ribbon, but the mad quality was still there! the problem was that the cheap 5 inch driver was ok for a few years, but it soon rotted out! This pair have had a much higher grade driver fitted to them with rubber surrounds, so good for ma
  18. These are the b200 driver that is designed for a sealed enclosure, it is best used at around 20 litres, I was going to pair this with the tweeters listed to build a nice version of a bbc monitor, kinda like the ls35a but bigger the t52 is a superior tweeter used in the 105 reference monitor you could use the kef kit 1 crossover, or build one like I was going to Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are advertising multiple items, you m
  19. 20. You are looking at three pairs of quality vintage tweeters these are from speakers I have bought over the years, the Phillips from a tillbrook design I think! the peerless from a imf clone, and the realistic tweeters made by foster/fostex were in a simple two way with a fostex 103 all good pairs for cheap the peerless have a different sticker but are the same tweeter as far as measurement Photos: PLEASE READ If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you are adverti
  21. You must know about these speakers by now! these are the budget two way that Andrew Jones designed for pioneer, he had already put a smaller speaker together for them, but using off the shelf parts, this time he designed the mid bass driver himself! Giving the speaker outstanding results and gaining a cult following. I pulled them apart and lined the boxes internally with dynamat, thus making the boxes much more inert, then I changed the series cap on the tweeter to an auri cap, a much better cap than the original, which wasn’t crap I might add. these speakers are amazing, you n
