  2. Item: PERFECTWAVE POWER PLANT 5 Location: Perth WA Price: $1000 plus cost of transport to buyer Item Condition: 8 / 10 because of line on screen not as bad as it looks Reason for selling: Needed more out lets , have up graded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, ( buyer pays plus 3% or use friends to avoid fees ) Bank transfer Extra Info: On the LED screen there is a line which has no effect on the P5 only visual , the screen can be switched off so you don't see it . A new screen can be fitted , they are available on order from Magenta . Hence the low price on the P5 if buyer chooses to go that way other wise use as is and save a lot of cash . I have the original boxes , a power cord never used , remote never used and a spare memory card . Would prefer a local buyer due to the weight , but can send using Northline Transport to interstate buyer , destination will determine the cost . This was bought from Simply HiFi . 4. Item: Wave Stone BNC Cabels 1m long Location: Perth WA Price: $700 Posted Australia only Item Condition: 10/10 Reason for selling: Have gone optical Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal ( use friends or plus 3% paypal fess ) Bank transfer Extra Info: Purchased 24/1/19 after trying many different makes of BNC cables for the Mscaler this was the best choice if you have Chords Mscaler these are the cables to use , after a couple of changes to my set up these cables are now to short so I went for optical connection now . Cost was $900 when bought and still cost that today bank fees and exchange rates at the time .They are fairly stiff because of the ferrites and heavy . Plenty of reviews by users on HiFi Head forum . Came in foam ctn for protection which I will use for posting with extra bubble wrapping on outside for more protection . Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.

  9. The Two on the right do nothing for now they are there for future up-grade when the Divina Project gets finished . As for the clicks you are hearing I never had that problem , I know that has been talked about on the Head - Fi forums others have had that click sound . Worth your while looking there its a long thread I remember reading about this starts being mentioned there when they first went on sale in the UK so not at the start of the thread but later on round about page 100 I think ?
  10. I have the Dave & Mscaler , the Dave I have had for 2 years now and Mscaler for 6 weeks . The scaler needed 85 hours before it sounded good , dull , flat and very little bass all that has changed now , its very hard to describe how much it has improved . Not a night & day difference for me but a very clean natural sound still changing for the better . Went back to using just the Dave to remind my self of how the dave sounded but could not bring myself to stay very long with that set up , it just sounded not right . Putting the scaler back in made all the difference , others have had a more dynamic change this all system dependant . Cables , I use dual connection and this was a big head ache for me the supplied cables kept on dropping the signal about every 45 seconds , on the Head HiFi forums they have more details on others having the same problems , I did what Rob suggested and used the Toslink input and that was good until I got some cables to try . I was lucky that I did not have to buy all the cables I tried because some of the more expensive cables also had that problem , so be aware that price alone does not mean it will work , I ended up using Beldon BNC cables for now I will stay with this cable until I am more accustom to sound of my HiFi before changing to another NBC cable . looks like the scaler will need carefull choice of cables just like I did with the Dave .
  11. Thanks for the help , should have thought of those myself did some checking on the whirpool lots of stuff there to read , library is next to check on Monday .
  12. I now have NBN in my area of Perth and I am looking for members who were with Telstra and changed over to TPG for NBN connection . The plan TPG is NBN50 for $70 and the similar one with Telstra for $89 very similar specs for both but the price difference of $19 . What are your thoughts now you are with TPG , would you still stay or go back to Telstra , I have been with Telstra for 20 years and had no problems but that price difference for almost the same plan is making me want to change . I don't stream movies mainly surf the web and play computer games , so the typical evening speed is suitable for me with either Telco . Did you use the modem that TPG supply or did you buy a better one your self , I have compared other cheaper NBN plans from other Telcos but after reading there limitations in the fine print it came down to TPG or stay for now with Telstra . Would like to hear the good and bad points if any when you made the switch .
