  2. Item: Campfire Audio Orion In Ear Monitors Location: Perth Price: $400 Item Condition: As new Reason for selling: Unfortunately the IEM does not suit the shape of my ear Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Single Full Range Balanced Armature Driver. Just superbly made and high performance IEM at this price point. Unfortunately the shape just doesn’t suit my ears. I bought Dekoni Audio Bullets to try different tips in the hope they would work better for me but I think I will have to go for a custom solution instead. I will include the extra tips in the sale. Bought from Addicted for $495 plus $40 for the Dekoni’s. Warranty card has not been filled out. Pictures:
  3. Item: Audio Synergy Two Box Valve Pre Amplifier Location: Perth Price: $2450 Item Condition: Very Good Reason for selling: Selling my system 😢 Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: This is the work of the much revered Clifford De Souza of Audio Synergy. With a seperate power supply, point to point wiring, McIntosh Step Attenuator volume control, the Pre is just harmonic bliss and made the single biggest difference in my system. That was before I added a matching pair of NOS 1960’s Telefunken 12AT7 signal valves costing over $800! The valves have approximately 50 hours on them so they probably haven’t even come into their own yet. There is a minor cosmetic mark on the rear panel of the power supply, otherwise I can’t fault it. Please feel free to ask any questions and if I’m unable to answer them, I’ll reach out to a friend as he is much more technically competent than I am. Pictures:
  4. Item: Bang and Olufsen H6 Headphones Location: Perth Price: $200 Item Condition: Very Good Reason for selling: Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I’ve enjoyed the use of these cans but I have recently changed to IEM’s as I wear glasses and find them more comfortable when traveling. Complete with original packaging and cloth bag. This is the wired version. Pictures:
  5. Item: Roon Nucleus Location: Perth Price: $1750 Item Condition: Brand New Reason for selling: Selling my system Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I’ve taken the plastic outer wrapping off the box otherwise presents as brand new. This is the Nucleus not the Nucleus Plus. I also have a brand new Chord Company Shawline 1m USB cable that I can included in the purchase of the sale for an additional $250 Info from Roon’s blog: https://blog.roonlabs.com/what-makes-nucleus-so-special/ Pictures:
  6. Thanks for the clarification Paulrp. This is really good to know. I'm certain this will be most pleasing to those that have the Bridge 2.
  7. Seems odd? There is an expansive topic on the PS Audio forum about the development of Octave and its specific use with the Bridge 3. Perhaps there has been a very recent change in direction of which I would not be privy too. I hope you'll see that I am certainly not trying to mislead anyone, I'm just referring to the information in the public domain.
  8. Because then I’d spend all my money on fuel and tyres 😄
  9. Yes, that is correct. I was going to use NUC to USB direct. I understand the Bridge 3 is out soon with Octave
  10. Item: PS Audio Directstream DAC without Bridge Location: Perth, WA Price: $4750 Item Condition: As new condition - not a mark on it anywhere. Reason for selling: I purchased this from a fellow forum member and sadly have just not used it. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: As I have not used the DAC, I’ve copied the information below from the original seller who was very helpful and had an excellent understanding of the product. A beautiful dac - especially with the last firmware update. Original owner, very well cared for unit. Comes in original double boxed packing with power cord, remote, owners manual etc. Has only ever been used with my P10 power regenerator so power supply has been first rate and unit fully protected. Remote has ALWAYS been inside a plastic cover. Plastic cover on the dac has NEVER been removed so finish underneath will be mirror like. Couldn't be happier with it. No bridge with this one. Bridge 3 will be released soon that will enable further sonic benefits (as well as the free firmware updates we get for these dacs so it will be the perfect dac/preamp/streamer all in one! and one that remains future proof for a long time to come. Happy to freight interstate at buyers expense. Disclaimer: when I unpacked the DAC I did take the remote out of the packaging (since placed it back) and peeled back ever so slightly on one corner of the plastic protective cover on the top of the DAC. 11. Item: Dared VP-845 Vacuum Tube Integrated Amplifier Location: Perth, WA Price: $1999 Item Condition: Very Very Good Reason for selling: Too nice to be just used occasionally Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I’ve used this Amp as a power amp in my system. It drives the Sonus Faber’s I have with ease. Included are the original 845 tubes that came with the amplifier. I have since upgraded to a pair of Cetron 845’s which cost a small fortune but made a significant improvement. There was a pair for sale on the US eBay site for approximately $1500. I’m happy to include these in the sale for an additional $500. I estimate there would be approximately 120 to 150 hours on the tubes. I don’t have the original box for the Amp. Weight is 34kgs. Auditions of the amplifier are welcome, however I do not have a good source so I would encourage those wishing to hear the amplifier bring with their own preferred source.
