  1. Before this thread gets closed post-sale, I'd like to say a public thank you to Andrew for the best buying experience I've had here at SNA. We had organised a plan for me to drive the 2.5hrs from my place to his to collect the speakers this week, but as it turned out he was going to be driving past my place on short notice and instead, brought the speakers and stands to me. He shared his experience with the speakers and their setup, and had obviously cared for them meticulously in the time he had them. They're now part of my end-game system and with some more listening and a little tweaking of placement I expect they'll be giving me years of audio pleasure. I'm more than happy to add my name to the list of SNA-ers that have had very positive experiences with Andrew! Thanks mate! Jason
  2. Thanks Lucas. This is a great bargain! Good luck with the sale. Jason

The older version of the iPower that I have has only the Micro-USB lead. If you've bought a more recent iFi Power and don't use the USB-C connector, please get it touch! Thanks Jason

  6. Item: QAcoustics Concept 20 in black Price Range: negotiable Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: Hiya! I'm looking for a pair of QAcoustics Concept 20 bookshelf speakers in black to round out my HT. Would prefer with the matching stands but it's not a deal-breaker. Thanks! Jason
  7. Just to add my 2c: today I finally sorted out the buzzing and popping I've been hearing via USB DAC(s) connected to my PC for the past 12 months by ditching the ethernet-over-power adapter I had been using and switching to Wifi. I had tried lots of USB filters and purifiers and tried isolating the USB data and power legs with an expensive split USB cable and feeding the DAC power from a battery or linear supply, but the noise was coming through the USB data link whatever I tried. I almost bought a replacement motherboard figuring it must be the culprit. But today, having unplugged the EoP adapter and adding a USB Wifi adapter to the PC, I have a completely black background from my USB DAC at last. @anewmission I hope your fix is as simple! Jason

  10. Thanks for the input guys - it seems that this DAC is sold and that it's the end of an era in my listening room... Onwards and upwards! Jason
  11. Item: Audio-gd Reference 5.32 PCM1704UK DAC with Amanero USB Location: Mid North Coast, NSW Price: $735 inc. metro courier Item Condition: Very good Reason for selling: Changed DAC flavour to a Chord Qutest Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal + 3%, PayID, Direct deposit Extra Info: For sale is my Audio-gd Reference 5.32 DAC with an Amanero384 USB receiver upgrade. I am the first owner of this DAC which was purchased in 2013 and which is in very good cosmetic and perfect working order. The Audio-gd product information page is here, and a thread describing the Amanero upgrade performed by pete_mac in 2015 is here. It had a TXCO clock upgrade at the time of purchase, accepts up to 96/24 via SPDIF and optical, and up to 192/32 via USB. This was my first audiophile DAC. Despite other component changes it's stayed with me longer than any other piece of kit and I'm having a hard time letting go of it - it's an excellent implementation of the famed PCM1704UK chips in a balanced configuration, and (although I haven't) its DSP-1 board can be configured for a variety of oversampling flavours. The display of this unit is worn in line with the number of hours it's been powered up - some of the segments are dimmer than others but certainly remain legible. I can also include a pair of original Audio-gd ACSS interconnects if you happen to have an Audio-gd amplifier that you're planning to use with this DAC. I no longer have the original box but the DAC will be securely packaged for delivery, which is included in the asking price for East Coast metro destinations. Any questions please drop me a message. Thanks! Jason Photos:

  13. Yes, I just might, mate. But it's time to move on and try out other things. I've really enjoyed my time with Audio-gd, that's for sure... Jason

  15. Item: Audio-gd Precision 1 Integrated Amplifier Location: Mid North Coast, NSW Price: $485 inc. metro courier Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: NLR Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal + 3%, PayID, Direct deposit Extra Info: For sale is my Audio-gd Precision 1 Integrated Amplifier. I am the first owner of this amp, which was purchased in 2013, and which is in excellent cosmetic and perfect working order. The Audio-gd product information page is here, and this unit was reviewed by Cafad during a brief stopover between Audio-gd and my listening room. This was my first audiophile amplifier, and during its time it has driven Usher S520s, Q Acoustics Concept 30s, Kef LS50s, Axis Voicebox standmounts, vintage B&W standmounts, and Magnepan MMGs. Its headphone output has driven Audio-Technica, B&W, and Sennheiser cans without issues. It comes with the original plastic remote control. I can also include a pair of original Audio-gd ACSS interconnects if you happen to have an Audio-gd DAC that you're planning to use with this amp. I no longer have the original box but the amp will be securely packaged for delivery, which is included in the asking price for East Coast metro destinations. Any questions please drop me a message. 16. Item: PrimaLuna ProLogue Premium Integrated Amplifier Location: Mid North Coast, NSW Price: $985 inc. metro courier Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Upgraded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal + 3%, PayID, Direct deposit Extra Info: For sale is my PrimaLuna ProLogue Premium integrated amplifier - my introduction to tubes. After lots of great listening and fun with tube rolling I've upgraded to a Dialogue HP - mainly for the sub output and the headphone amp and because I snagged it at a clearance price... I'm the second owner of this ProLogue Premium integrated. It's in excellent cosmetic and perfect working order. The product info page and reviews have lots of info to trawl through. It was a Stereophile Class A recommendation in 2016. The owner's manual is available here. It comes with the tube cage pictured and with a slimline metal remote control. No tubes, though - you can start fresh with whatever you like. The four preamp tubes up front are 12AU7. The four power tubes at the rear can be any of EL34, KT77, KT88, KT120, or KT150. Over my time with the amp I ran stock Primaluna 12AU7+EL34, Mullard reissue 12AU7+EL34, and Gold Lion reissue 12AU7+KT77 (probably my favourite). I don't think I still have the original box, but the amp will be securely packaged for delivery, which is included in the asking price for East Coast metro destinations. Any questions please drop me a message. Thanks! Jason Photos:
