  1. Item: REL R218 Subwoofer Location: Bellfield, Victoria Price: $850 pickup (RRP$1599) Item Condition: 7/10 rated conservatively due to some cosmetic blemishes, see last 2 pictures. Some light swirling on the top due to mirror black finish almost impossible to keep perfect. Flash photography makes the swirls look worse than they actually are. Reason for selling: No longer required, was paired with with small active Genelec monitors which I am selling as well. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: Original RRP$1599. Comes with an Au power cable, REL's high level input cable as well as a set of adjustable spikes. Integrates really easily with speakers through the high level input. What I personally found amazing about the REL subs is not only the additional low end punch they add, but they widen & deepen the soundstage as well. Definitely not something I was expecting when I first set them up but in time it was what I appreciated most about them. Tried them both with my Genelec 8020B as well as my Dynaudio Confidence C1 IIs. Pickup only at this point due to discarding the original box in a move, but if you really want me to ship I can always get a shipping quote for you. Would prefer local pickup though. Received the Editor's Choice award from Absolute Sound. HIfi+ Review linked below: http://www.hifiplus.com/articles/rel-r-218/ Pictures:
  2. Item: Genelec 8020B Active Speakers Location: Bellfield Victoria Price: $900 shipped Item Condition: 9/10 Reason for selling: Moving main speakers out to lounge room now, my little boy is older and not as likely to poke at the drivers 😉 Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: Used them as a lounge system with a REL R218 Subwoofer, they sounded great and I didn't have to worry about my little boy poking at the drivers with the metal grill over them! Also used them briefly as a desktop speaker connected to the computer. The little rubber feet they sit on (Iso-pod) allows you to angle the tweeters right at you, pretty handy! I had the opportunity to listen to the new KEF LSX and my personal opinion is that these walk all over the KEFs.. The slightly updated version retails for $1590 at Stereophonic. Pictures:
  3. Item: APS V3 Sennheiser HD800 cable, 1/4 single-ended 1.5m Location: Bellfield, Victoria Price: $120 shipped. Sold pending payment. Item Condition: 10/10 Reason for selling: Sold headphones, no longer required Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal if shipped. Extra Info: 1.5m, 1/4" neutrik plug, can be converted to balanced without too much work as well as long as you are handy with a soldering iron. When I first got them years ago I was pretty amazed what a simple cable upgrade did for my HD800s, I personally thought it was well worth the $300++ I paid for them. Pictures:
  4. * edit Previous buyer committed to buy but backed out 4 days later 😑. Back on the market.
  5. Item: Burson Soloist Location: Bellfield, Vic Price: 450 shipped Item Condition: 8/10, some scratches on left panel towards rear, only just discovered after someone asked 😢 see last photo Reason for selling: funding speaker upgrade Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: Purchased from Addicted to Audio quite a few years back, not used much at all due to me being more of a speaker guy. Works fantastic as a pre-amp as well, drove my little active Genelecs with plenty of authority. Puts out 4w, and based on what heaps of people have said they pair very well with orthos/planars, especially the Audeze LCD series. Drives pretty much everything! I paired it with my HD800 and was pretty happy. 3 gain settings, the lowest worked well with my IEMs. Very versatile unit with lots of features. Original packaging was discarded while moving, will give preference to local buyers who are able to pickup. Will consider shipping it it comes to that. 6. Item: Sennheiser HD800 with APS V3 cable (single ended) Location: Bellfield, Vic Price: 800 Item Condition: 8/10 (due to small nick, see 2nd last pic) Reason for selling: funding speaker upgrade Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: Comes with original retail box, frequency response certificate, manual, original cable as well as a travel case. Have not seen much use over the last few years due to being busy with work, young child etc plus I am more of a speaker guy I guess.. Any questions please ask. I will give preference to local buyers who are able to pickup, but will ship at cost as well if necessary. Pictures:
  7. Cheap cos I have no room for it, want a quick sale as well. Will probably regret it once gone, it is a darn good dac!

  9. Item: Meier Audio Concerto Headphone Amplifier Location: Bellfield, Victoria Price: sold Item Condition: functionality 10/10, cosmetics 6/10 Reason for selling: surplus to needs Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal + 2.4% Extra Info: I was cleaning up and didn't realise I still had this! It's been a long time since my headphone days and I am only keeping 1 pair of headphones and 1 headamp so this has to go. I plugged it in to have a quick listen and I couldn't believe how good it sounded. Sound is clean & detailed, probably on the slightly dry side but pairs really well with darker sounding headphones like the Sennheiser HD-650. There are some marks at the bottom of the case from when I opened it up to have a look at the op-amps, otherwise it functioned normally when I tested it. Gain switch, cross-feed switch and a DAC chip controlled volume. You can hear the relays clicking when you turn the volume knob. Priced to sell, so please no silly offers or they will just be ignored. Original RRP at USD$750. I will package to ship inter-state as well. Pictures:
  10. Item: NAD M51 DAC (silver) Location: Bellfield, Victoria Price: Sold Item Condition: 9/10, only some hairline scratches on the display which can only be seen up-close at certain angles Reason for selling: upgraded Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal + 2.4% Extra Info: Brilliant DAC which kept me away from the upgrade path for many years. Bought it to replace my Wyre for Sound DAC-1 and it beat the DAC-1 in every area imaginable. It was more natural sounding, bigger more realistic staging and timbres were much more natural compared to the DAC-1. Impressive functionality as well as you can use it as a pre-amp directly into your power amp. I found the balanced out-puts to sound better and the best sounding input for me was AES. Compared to my Schiit Yggdrasil at 2.5 times the cost it doesn't fall far behind at all. The M51 still has a bigger soundstage and dreamier vocals, however the Yggdrasil is a bit more detailed but retaining that easy to listen to character. Somedays I still wonder if it was worth buying the Yggdrasil as I could not arrange a home trial for the Yggdrasil so I had to buy it to try it. I am the 1st owner of the M51, and will provide an original purchase receipt (14/5/13) for the buyer. Pick-up is preferred as I have discarded the original boxes when I moved, however if there is firm interest interstate I will be able to package it appropriately for shipping. PM for shipping quotes. Donation will be made upon sale of item. Pictures:
