These are very highly regarded Speakers on SNA Forums, have a very Transparent Midrange & Treble with an Accurate Bass. You are correct it isn't the Speakers that are the problem, I have a 80hz hump in my room that I have trouble getting out. Cheers.

They are the Reference Model that I had fully upgrade to the latest Specs (Replaced the Bass drivers x (4) Analysis Plus cabling & Cross-over updates-Inv available) therefor they are efficient 96db & Image like no other. Unfortunately my small room with low ceilings wont support the Bass that delves to the low 20hz region, I have bought 2 ways. No Boxes, pickup only -Melb Sth East Suburbs. Pictures:
