  1. Sorry, the EOI has been withdrawn. I connected and have been playing my new Chord Qutest DAC today. These are keepers now. Worth noting these NEED a top source, DAC, and the Silver Meze cables to really open up and tell you what they are truly capable of. I had my decade old NAIM HDX server/player feeding my GSX Mini and that was clearly a total disappointment.
  2. Had one for years, solid sub. and so very configurable as a HIFI & HT sub and the set presets and remote control are so handy too. At the asking price. it’s a total steal. GLWTS
  3. I literally just ordered and paid for one a week ago. So grrrrrr to me for that, but GLWTS for you , a fantastic DAC at a bargain price for the quality DAC you get.
  4. Further information: For sale is my 5x Cricket Memorabilia , signed, framed prints. All with Cert. of Authenticity from PWC. 1. All in mint condition, Perth pick up is my first desire. However can send if requi
  5. I had to edit the EOI a bit. Someone is interested in the Meze Upgraded Silver XLR cable, so that has been withdrawn and the EOI price adjusted accordingly.
  6. Cheers, TBH it “may” need some more hours on it. Not 100% sure, I’ll see if any EOI come in and decide then.
  7. Further information: These were purchased new from an Australian Dealer (can show receipt) in Jan. this year. They are just not for me unfortunately as I have very specific musical requirements & taste. Had about 50 hours of music break in use only. Not a mark or scratch on them 100% as new condition, leather pads not even creased. It is an EOI at this stage, because If I don’t get what I am after price wise, I’ll keep them and work out my DAC and / or headphone amp. side to see if I can get the sound that I am after. ***** Edited ******
  8. Sorry, I forgot to add the Perfect Day pictures to the Ad.

  10. Yes a Medieval torture device is one way to describe how the 1266 ‘phones looks. That and an obscene price to pay for them.
  11. Demoing the Meze Empyrean ‘phones now. Bloody heck ! These are so good too. Now I cannot decide these or the Focal Utopia....... can get a better price on the Meze though......
  12. They do sell Final Audio, but no demo. D8000 available unfortunately. I “could” risk it and blind buy a pair. But I won’t, I’ll see if they can get a demo. set in. I am also curious as to how they fair. The HEDD ‘phones were really, really good. Sound wise excellent, detailed and punchy. The letdown was fit and comfort on my head. I was maxed out on the arm slider length, it was only “just” long enough to allow the ear cups to cover my ears. That then put more pressure on the top of my head. So I passed on them.
  13. After a long demo afternoon at a dealer. I have revised my expectations and budget. Now locked in on the Focal Utopia. Had everything I love about pop, rock music. Not even close TBH and it comprehensively seen off Audeze LCD X, 3 & 4, the HEDD & Stax SR 097 mk2 - against my music taste and what I like sound wise. For example, a guy purchased the LCD 3 while I was in there. He was a strictly jazz, blues guy though, so a customer with a totally different musical taste and all that.
  14. Cheers for that. I’ll keep demoing until I have a pair locked in. Price wise the STAX 007mk2 is looking most promising, it’s the matching energiser unit that can go from $2,000 ‘ish up to about $8,000 that is the issue.
  15. Look around $5,000 either all up or just for the ‘phones ( for that special set). The Final Audio D8000 has peaked my interest too. As in a stereo system, I am fast coming to the conclusion that system matching is just as important with headphones.
  16. I have gotten out of the speakers and electronics game. However I have left a budget for a high end headphones and headphone amp. set up. Had a listen to to Audeze LCD 3 and was blown away on how good they were, I’ll compare them against the STAX SR 007 mk2 soon. Will budget about the same price as the headphone for the headphone amp as well. For nthe LCD 3 it will be the SPL Phonitor xe. For the STAX, perhaps the Stax SRM-007TII. I want a great all round set up, but I do listen to 80’s rock/pop a lot. My source is a NAIM HDX server/player. Reliability
  17. Jeez, look possibly. It’s just that I assume the cost will eat well into any profit is all I am worried about.
  18. Perhaps I went a bit high price wise. If anyone is interested at all, just flick me an offer. I’ll entertain all offers.
  19. Pretty sure these are all built to order, so these are here & now, buy ! Fantastic speaker GLWS.
