Your pictures don't work.

If you're just after the audio from the tv then this is probably the go, the HDMI can still be utilised for video then.

HI all.... I am hoping to find a good repairer for my Sansui AU-7700 in the South East Melbourne area. The protection circuit relay has ceased triggering unfortunately. I would be grateful if anyone could assist with recommendations.
If you have no luck locally and don't mind posting your amp Bill does do good work here

Actually works from home nowadays.
I think he used to own Merlin audio here in Canberra nice fellow and does good repair work techs are becoming harder to find unfortunately

There was one advertised in the classifieds recently not sure if it sold.

I have 3 sets of these standmounts, SP100 Spendor as well 2 pairs of Rogers LS7 and Export monitors they are well worth the effort to find a nice set if you're into the "musical sound" and no none are for sale sorry mate.
Pair them with a nice Sansui and you'll be happy (I always say that being a Sansui tragic they do work well together though). Aksa amps match well too.........just sayin.
Good luck with the search Ash

I will vouch for that site @bob_m_54 has listed good gear and communication if you need advice obviously if you're handy with a soldering iron that makes it easier.

I had an Aspen Saksa 85 that was very close sound wise to my Sansui Alpha it was hard to part with it but I was in a "declutter stage" at the time, goose that I am I sold it.
The Sansui amp is the MRA?

Pete I had the Leben CS600 for a while only 28watts mate but just lovely to listen to I wish I still had it sometimes and the Weston amps I had as well .
I actually think you would do well to try a Sansui Alpha with those Graham's I'm guessing they lean towards the "British sound" is that what you're after?
-
I had a D11 and a 555A for a long time the D11 mid range isn't as "warm" sounding as you probably hoped for, still a nice amp though I paired mine with an old set of Paradigm SE 11 MK11 gee they sounded nice together.
Luc's right they are from a different generation of amps you can't really compare the 555A to a D11 and expect them to sound the same.

Stickers, probably a heat gun Daves idea of the hair dryer is pretty much the same though, not sure but heat guns are probably hotter, a razor blade is risky but in conjunction with the heat gun is possible but still risky the stickers are probably brittle already you could just mask them carefully and paint/spray.
Gilly Stephensons is nice oil to use also.

Hi Batmaqn, thanks for comment, yes unfortunately the large caps were replaced, I have played a lot of different music on it, not overly bassy. I have a NAD 3020e that seems more bassie .
Unfortunately recapping isn't always the best option (unless needed of course) the old tech gurus say if its not broken don't fix it.

I am no expert however when my Canberra tech did my AU719 he was reluctant to replace the 2 big caps and didn't he was of the opinion that would alter the sound away from the Sansui norm it came back sounding lovely, I don't know if your's will get "bassier" with time but I would suggest not, you will get used to the sound, though they aren't usually all that strong bass wise set at zero anyway so just turn it up a notch or two.
Perhaps the choice of track (quality of the recording) may have something to do with the level of bass as well.

Maybe ring Tortech I found them quite helpful and knowledgeable about this subject.

A 500w will do the job fine however I found getting the 1000w gave a bit of flexibility if you need to run two things in the future.

This fellow does good work he worked on my Sansui AU719 I'd have no problem recommending Bill but you'd have to post it to him being in Canberra.

Yep went to the tip.
Most tips accept TV 's for free or they do in Canberra anyway seems there's a fair few precious metals in a big tv.
