  1. Item: Bluesound Pulse 2 (white) Location: Doncaster East, VIC Price: $500 (price drop) Item Condition: Item is in excellent condition. Looks new. It is currently stored in original box with bag and original accessories. I'll even throw in a remote you can use with it. Reason for selling: NLR. I need the cash and my audio gear hasn't been getting used. Time to move on the secondary systems. Pity, because the whole house sound is beautiful! I guess I'm in the wrong life stage. I will also be selling Bluesound Duo Speakers (white) $750 and Bluesound Powernode 2 (black) $750. All in original boxes. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal (+3%) Extra Info: https://www.bluesound.com/products/pulse-2/ This speaker is one of the best looking and best sounding network audio speakers around. Easy to use app and brilliant sound. You can't do better for these dollars! I've read a number of reviews that place the sound on the Pulse 2 as better than the sound in the Bluesound Pulse 2i due to a change in drivers. Photos:
  2. Yep! All of them. I had them sitting there for a month in their boxes before I could bring myself to make this first post. I've loved the times I've had them all going at the same time! Such beautiful quality whole house sound. Ah.. You're going to make me keep them!

  4. Oh dear. These have triggered some serious speaker lust. Now I just need the house to match 😂
  5. Does it still have warranty left and an original receipt?
  6. Let's be honest. This is not about quality. It is about what you can tolerate. The Homepod will give you the best sound of these, but doesn't have a screen like the others. My 2 cents is that you should choose the screen you like and then have another speaker for playing music. You can configure Google Assistant to play music by default to another speaker. I use a Google Chromecast Audio plugged into my other speakers
  7. Or you could do what I did for a while and glue the pure i20 - but it is really tricky to open and get back together neatly
  8. Yes, you're reaching the end of the road a little with this one. I had a pure i20. It had the same issue. I believe it was because the internal plastic broke and the connector had sunken into the device. That's what you get I guess when plastic is used. It was a great device. My advice would be to sell your iPod Classic on eBay or somewhere. The going price is between $150-$250. Invest the money in either a new portable player or a Player/DAC that supports a USB storage device (my personal preference is currently a bluesound node 2i).
  9. +1 What is being talked about here sounds like a straightforward application of this all in one remote technology. Any reason this isn't recommended? My wife likes an actual remote
  10. Grab a Bluesound Node 2i if you want Apple Airplay 2? But from the sounds of things that would be better in the other living areas. I'm with Juicester tho... That Linn. Try out something Roon - even with Bluesound to start with... It may change your mind
  11. Thanks for the tips. My time disappeared down a sink and I've not done this project yet. Trigger and box still sitting there!! I found this 12v trigger which is about $60 delivered to Australia and would be perfect to switch on a power board https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/power-supply-kits/audiophonics-trigger-12v-230-v-slave-power-supply-device-p-10661.html

  13. I had considered getting an electrician to wire a relay into a power point with a 3.5mm trigger plug in the wall. I assume this is the most legitimate way rather than a separate device. But I'm not going to have my Hifi where it is long term. I've ordered the ebay relay. I'll find out in a month how well it works
