  1. I’ve experienced agoraphobia and it’s not pleasant to deal with. Hang in there and get the support you need. All the best and take good care of yourself.
  2. I had a Luxman L507uX II for a time paired with a matching SACD player and while the build quality was fabulous on both, the amplifier turned out to be quite disappointing. Especially disappointing was the built in phono stage as it didn’t have enough gain for LOMC carts. Also, it lacked dynamics and couldn’t match any phono stage that I’d used previously. That ranged to an old ME preamp with an inbuilt MC board to a stand-alone Musical Surroundings phono stage. As a vinyl lover it was disappointing and left me quite cold towards Luxman. So I gave it the boot. Now running a Gryphon Diablo 120 integrated amp with built in phono and it’s meets my expectations. The build quality of the Gryphon is leagues above Luxman as well. So, happy man. If you’re a vinyl lover, I’d be auditioning either other amps with built in phono stages or consider pairing an external unit to the Luxman. The inbuilt one is nothing to write home about. Just my opinion.
  3. Painful for the new owner as the insurance didn't cover damage in transit. Thanks for the well wishes.
  4. Further information: Deposit taken. Sale pending. Price is firm with shipping at an additional cost. Pickup much preferred as the last item - Legend Kantus - were badly damaged when I sent them to Melbourne. Having said that, the packing is better with these. Purchased new by me on 04/01/19. Stunning in looks and sound. An extremely hard to decision to sell but I need to reduce my hifi collection and find space for in my new home (when I find one, which will hopefully be soon). Made by Italian artisans as only they can do. I've not seen anything as gorgeous as these before. The midrange is sublime, the detail is so rich like the finest of red wines. The crossover is built into the stands with a neutrik connector that comes out of the base of the speaker that connects to it. Everything is in mint condition - speakers and stands. They haven't had much use either, perhaps 30 to 40 hours. These have been packed in boxes since last November when I sold the family home. Boxes and instructions included. 5. Further information: Price is firm, shipping will be an additional cost. Audia Flight phono purchased as a demo by me from Grooveworks on 04/02/2019. It hasn't been used all that much by me, perhaps 10 to 20 hours. It is in excellent condition and comes with two MC boards that can be configured by moving jumpers. I purchased it with silver faceplates as can be seen in the photos. I purchased new black ones as I prefer that colour (they weren't cheap either). The silver faceplates had a couple of small marks on them that I noticed when unpacking. I've had the black ones installed but didn't take photos of them. They are, of course, perfect since they are new. This is by far the best phono stage I've ever owned. However, I need to reduce the amount of hifi I have so this need to go. Sadly. The sliver plates will obviously be included. Comes with original box and instructions. Much prefer local pickup but it can be shipped at buyers expense. 6. Have to mention the build quality of the Martens is superb.
  7. Beautiful Martens. I’m loving my Oscar Duo stand mounts paired with my Gryphon.
  8. Yes, I’ve been looking at those. They look stunning in the piano walnut.
  9. Didn't know anyone replied to this topic. An update, as of today, 14 May 20, I've experienced my sixth of seventh breakdown. Had it serviced and repaired in January of this year and it was working really well but today it lost steam pressure and water temperature. Oh my, I'm so glad I bought an ECM. Think I'll just sell it for parts as I just can't bear to spend any more money on this POS. Any suggestions on a machine in the $3k mark? Not ECM or Profitec as they are sisters companies.
  10. Legend Acoustics has just released the Tripos - a three way bookshelf speaker that uses the Kurre enclosure. Should be a lovely speaker. There’s also Marten Oscar Duo which I have and they are unbelievably good.
  11. Because they don’t know any better!
  12. Phono module and it’s very, very good too.
  13. I got myself a Gryphon Diablo 120 last year and will never change it. Astonishing in every respect.
  14. Further information: Pick up is definitely preferred. These are currently boxed as I have no room to play them, so demo will be hard. For anyone in Sydney, however, I can at least open the boxes and display them for inspection. Purchased new by me in August 2016 direct from Legend Acoustics. Complete with manuals, plinth spikes and original packaging. These have performed flawlessly since new. These speakers are deadly accurate and they image as well as a bookshelf. Bass response is tremendous, controlled and dynamic. The speakers are as new with no marks on the veneer at all. The veneer has been cleaned a couple of times with Mirotone’s Spray Glow to preserve and protect it. (I use this on all my speakers). The veneer has always been protected from sunlight coming into the room so they haven’t faded at all. Minor issue: one of the plastic tips on the ‘spider’ (about a three millimetre piece), in front of the tweeter, snapped off when I stupidly tried to dust the front baffle. I glued it back on fairly successfully and there is no damage to the actual tweeter so performance is totally unaffected. Certainly wouldn’t see it from the listening position with the grill off (see photos). Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.

  18. Item: Legend Kantu 8i in Jarrah Location: Sydney Price: $2600 Item Condition: Excellent - see below for one small issue Reason for selling: Downsizing + I prefer two ways Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Pick up is definitely preferred. I've listed these a few times and withdrawn them but they really have to go this time. These are currently boxed as I have no room to play them, so demo will be hard. I glued it back on fairly successfully and there is no damage to the actual tweeter so performance is totally unaffected. Certainly wouldn’t see it from the listening position with the grill off (see photos). Any colour differences in the veneer between the speakers are because the left speaker was right next to the window when photographed, so had more natural light. 19. There is an old pair at Audio Connection - just lovely. I know it’s the second time of mentioned that store but I have no affiliation with them.
