Kept the arm and really forgot about it. 2. Thanks for the lead, don’t know if he will do it as I think it needs coil rewind. AT not interested
  3. Problem seems to be internal wiring, not sure garrott’s can help.
  4. Does any one know of some one who can repair a phono cartridge I have an AT art1 with collapsed suspension and only one channel
  5. Sorry it was stereofile originally published in 1975
  6. Absolute sound noted that records in the seventies had rolled off bass and with the variance between channels really low bass was not an issue
  7. Sorry about spelling and grammar my wife would be appalled re posting pictures
  8. Was designed .for use on an adcxlm cartridge with a tracking force of around .75 gram. Favourably reviewed in absolute sound in the late seventies. Was used on a transcriptor reference but feed back was a major issue. Turntable was sold for a thorns td125 and used an infinity black widow arm. Sold the turntable with standard transcriptor unipivot. Hence I still have the arm.
  9. Used to sell base model at Douglas Perth 400 dollars, ld100 speakers, amp and turntable. It is only the LD1000 speakers dreadful 2 way 2x 8 and tweeter in large vinyl wrapped box with single capacitor for cover.
  10. Improve the bass and the mids and highs improve disproportionately
  11. I posted some pictures of transcriptor vestigial arm in general that may be of interest. I will post pictures of mission 774 arm when I find it
  12. Ok I see but why such aggression As a student I got involved in retail Hifi and as such and with some bad experiences selling gear which I never got paid for I either traded or kept gear which I used.. Just thought I would show you a part of audio history which most of you would not have seen. Item chosen was a transcriptor vestigial arm, kind of like a tangential arm but mounted as you would a normal arm. This was made for high compliance cartridges with very low track weight only the head shell moves
  13. That was 10 years ago maybe some one could repost
