  1. thanks guys its not for volume control , im doing a drill rig gui panel simulator and i want the potentiometer to change pressure digital settings as the increments in myu first post suggests , thanks for the replies im about to look at them now as i said probably wrong forum but i didnt want to join another forum , and it will be like a volume knob and i guess the digital volume numbers should be programable in increments but i need it to start at 65 and ende at 95 with 20 increments if you look at a volume control on small computer speakers thats what im after but as i said programable
  2. was wondering if anyone can put me on the right track for a potentiometer similar to a volume knob which is usb and programable , im actually looking to program it to change numbers onscreen on the computer for a project so i want to program it to go 65 minimum setting and have 20 incrememts as 1.5 each so max would be 95 , it would have to start at in postition minimum 7 oclock and end in maximum postition 5 oclock this probably belongs in a computer forum but i dont want to join another forum
  3. emotiva make some affordable 10 and 12 inch subs , i havent heard them but i run thier amps and they are value , id expect the same from thier speakers
  4. best remote for any juke program etc if you ahve an iphone or ipad is just to remotely log in using logmein or a similar program , i use it with and ipad using touchjams and its flawless
  5. i gave itunes away years ago , same reason album art would dissapear , i use google images to find my album covers then add the tag using a tagging program , now i use touchjams jukebox software , its a great program and way better then itunes or media player
  6. using an acer computer behind a home made juke cabinet with touch screen , not really sure of all the specs anymore , running windows xp using touchjams software to run the juke - pretty much the best program ive come across to date to an emotiva amp etc with a pair of custom adelaide speakers here are some pics if your interested on the juke build , love to hear some comments , im actually after ideas on the jukebox sign for the pelmot , im thinking chrome letters http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,105231.0.html
  7. hey all started using a program called touchjams , its a jukebox software program that i think is probably the best ive used to run mp3 music ,although that is in my opinion only depends what your looking for if your into computer mp3 music do yourself a favor and have a look at it , its got a seven day full trial for free ive pretty much trialled every juke software and never found one that had everything , this one has still got some features id like to see as well but ive emailed the softwar builder and he is definitely going to implement a couple of my ideas in future upgrades got to love technology lol
  8. wow 71 views and not one reply , very strange for this site , might be a stupid question although ive always been taught there are no stupid questions only stupid answers lol guess ill have to buy the power cord to go with the dac , reason im asking is i just used the power cord from the pre amp which is why i couldnt test it

  10. i hooked up the emotiva dac straight to amp , sounded pretty good but i cant use the volume control on my juke , im using a griffen powermate , also the max volume is nowhere near as high as the pre amp volume sound, not that i use max but its a long way short im wondering if i can go pc to dac using digital optical cable , then rca leads from dac to pre amp would this work , i cant use the dac if i dont get the volume control on the juke as its a feature of it and im still not convinced the sound is better yet
  11. so do you use them separately or can you use them together?
  12. pretty much wanting to know the same thing , i have the pre and the dac , can i use both or just the dac , which would sound better , where would my voulumes be set etc
  13. do yourself a favor and go to adelaide and listen to them , if you havent talked to edward talk to him , he can adapt to what you need as far as amps go consider the emotiva xpa2 its value for buck for sure , very good stuff
