  1. Thanks for the additional comment Mark. Yes seemed to do well on bench testing.
  2. Item: Behringer iNuke NU6000 Power Amplifier Location: Kenmore, Brisbane Price: $400 ono Item Condition: Used, perfect working order, light scratches on top of casing Reason for selling: Surplus to requirements Payment Method: Cash, Paypal, COD Only. Will give an estimate for postage if requested. Extra Info: I have replaced the stock fan with a much quieter fan, but with equivalent airflow, so now the amplifier is inaudible. It does not have a shroud over the fan, unlike most of the other Behringer amps, and this makes it much quieter than those amp once modded. I am not a qualified electrician so the buyer purchases at their own risk. Further information on the amplifier can be found here: https://www.music-group.com/Categories/Behringer/Power-Amplifiers/Portable-Amplifiers/NU6000/p/P0B1Q Delivers 2 x 3100 Watts into 4 Ohms, 2 x 1600 Watts into 8 Ohms and weighs less than 12 lbs / 5.5 kg Ultimate reliability through revolutionary cool-running High-Density Class-D technology with "near-zero" thermal buildup Ultra-efficient switch-mode power supply for noise-free audio, superior transient response and low power consumption "Zero-Attack" limiters offer maximum output level with reliable overload protection Built-in stereo crossover with low-cut, high-cut and full range mode Detented and illuminated gain controls for precise level setting Precise 4-segment Signal and Limit LEDs to monitor performance XLR and 1/4'' TRS combination input connectors for compatibility with any source Professional twist-lock speaker connectors for ultimate reliability Independent DC, LF and thermal overload protection on each channel automatically protects amplifier and speakers without shutting down the show “Back-to-front” ventilation system prevents thermal buildup for reliable operation Designed and engineered in Germany Pictures:

  4. My X3 won't start. The power light remains solid red, the lamp light flashes intermittently and continuously and the warning light remains red. The lens cover wouldn't shut nor the projector power down. Any ideas what might be the matter? My plan is to take it to AV Digitech as they charge $66 to find the fault and then offer a quote for repair. Does anyone have any other ideas or know of someone who repairs JVC projectors regularly? Thanks Matt
  5. Hi Marten, Yes you can. You just need an appropriate soundcard. See link for more info. http://www.bodziosoftware.com.au/
  6. I am currently using "Ultimate Equaliser" software to generate digital XOs with my PC. It is a very powerful programme (allows linearization of frequency and phase, digital XO generation, as well as various room and bass Mx options), but is even more complicated than Acourate, so I am not using it to it's max potential. Acourate also generates digital XOs. It is a neat solution as XOs, DSP and room correction can all be achieved via JRiver's convolution feature (according to the manuals anyhow), so keeps it all in the digital domain. The Dirac DDRC-88 seems to allow XOs if you purchase the additional software plug-in. I have purchased Acourate now, so will try to see how I go setting it all up and then post my impressions if people are interested (please be patient though as I have limited spare time).
  7. Thanks for the comments Zingmore. I am comforted to hear that you thought Acourate sounded a bit better.
  8. Currently can't find a solution to get rid of the PC. Dirac currently is often integrated with hardware so I was thinking of something like this: https://www.minidsp.com/products/dirac-series/ddrc-24 Which allows USB streaming and has the DSP processing in the unit, but it only outputs 4 channels and not the six I need. Another way to get around having the computer in the room was if there was a software programme that allowed streaming of audio after convolution e.g. a Jriver update, but I don't think that is currently possible. You'd still need a computer but not in the room. I decided to give Dirac a try. Will report back on impressions.
  9. Item: Dayton Titanic 12" sub driver x1 Price Range: Depends on condition etc. Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: Please don't forget to report your post as FOUND when possible. (You can now delete this text).
  10. Need the software to perform digital XO duties
  11. I'm interesting in people's opinions of the pro's and con's of Dirac vs Acourate. I am needing it for a stereo, 3-way active set-up, so need the software to do active cross-over duties too. Currently I run music off a PC but would be good in the future to run via streaming so I can get rid of the PC from the room although we be using for movies too so would need a streaming system that could also handle visuals. Thanks in advance, Matt
