  1. Item: Audeze LCD2F with Lohb Comfort Strap Location: Sydney Price: $800 Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Too many headphones Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Purchased a couple of years ago from A2A in Sydney. Not used too often, pretty much mint condition except the leather obviously looks a bit worn. Bought a Lohb comfort strap to improve comfort on the headband. Comes in the travel case. Let me know if any questions. Thanks. Pictures:
  2. Item: verum 1 headphones Location: sydney Price: $450 Item Condition: practically new Reason for selling: Head too big, jaw problems Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Zebrano wood texture + silver grill I got these in the Kickstarter. Used for 1 week. I love them but they cause me pain due to my apparently huge head forcing the weight onto my jaw ( which has problems). Sounds much better than my LCD-2F imo but YMMV. Can post pics if any interest but essentially they are in the condition they came in. Deets at the link below. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/verumaudio/verum-audiophile-planar-magnetic-headphones Cheers Tim Pictures
  3. I have a similar question - do the LS50 still sound significantly better than the LSX even in a room small enough for the LSX? I was thinking that the LSX might be ok to serve double duty as desktop speakers at the computer as well as in a small room where I am forced to listen fairly quietly. But at the same price as a passive LS50 I'm not so sure. Conversely, do the LS50 have to be played loudly to get the best out of them? Then the LSX might have an advantage again.
  4. Any more comments on these? Haven't previously owned any stats. Are these on a similar level to good dynamics / planars like HD650 / LCD-2? Reviews I can find online mention they sound surprisingly good but feel budget, however can't find many comparisons to headphones I know.
  5. Item: Schiit Mjolnir Balanced Headphone Amplifier Location: Sydney (pick-up / drop-off North Sydney or CBD) Price: $450 + shipping Item Condition: Very good but some small marks (shown in picture) Reason for selling: Too many amps Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal Extra Info: Original model Schiit Mjolnir Balanced Headphone amplifier. Very good condition. Some small scuffs as pictured. Reviews available here: https://www.qobuz.com/nl-nl/info/hi-fi-guide/schiit-mjolnir-a-great-name-but-an176647 https://www.head-fi.org/articles/schiit-mjolnir-reviews-and-impressions-collected.15844/ I do not have the original packaging but will package it safely for shipping via Auspost or other at buyer's expense. 6. Item: Violectric V800 (w/ original USB interface, Violectric offered an upgraded version later / available seperately) Location: Sydney Price: $500 ono Item Condition: Good with issue, see below Reason for selling: Too much stuff Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Good condition except for issue with volume knob where you can turn it all 360 degrees if you apply a bit of force. Functions as normal as long as you don't do that - has been used for ~2 years since this occurred. Some small scuff marks on coating as shown in pictures. Also note I do not have the original packaging. Pictures:
  7. Well I suppose "upgrade" might not be the right word, but hoping to grab a Sony player mainly due to good pairing with my Campfire Audio Andromedas.
  8. Item: Onkyo DP-X1 Location: Sydney Price: $650 incl postage&paypal Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Upgrading Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Perfect condition except for a few marks on top plate where headphone connectors rub against the metal. Includes bonus zzozz case I got on ebay for about $70. I've cut away at the bottom a bit to better fit USB cables. Onkyo doesn't supply a case with the player. Apologies for the poor photography. 9. Item: Violectric V800 DAC (v1 with the original USB)Location: SydneyPrice: $600Item Condition: Good but see extra info for issueReason for selling: Don't usePayment Method: Pickup - Cash, PaypalExtra Info: Issue with volume knob where you can turn it all 360 degrees if you apply a bit of force. Functions as normal as long as you don't do that. Some small scuff marks on coating as shown in pictures. Also note I do not have the original packaging. Pictures:
  10. V2 only has the resin chassis AFAIK. Aluminium chassis is for the (still unavailable due to issues of aluminium chasis disconnecting) V2+. Sadly, my listing probably has better reliability than buying new from LH Labs, judging from the amount of people who have faulty LEDs on arrival or resin that falls apart. Not much of a sales pitch I admit! I guess that's what you have to deal with to get this sound at this price point.
  11. Item: LH Labs Geek Out V2 Location: Sydney Price: $315 incl pp & postage Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Don't use Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Don't really use but sounds fantastic, especially balanced. I have had no issues with the unit. It has also never left my house so has been well looked after for a portable device. Pictures:
  12. Item: Auralic Gemini 1000 (Black with gold-ish coloured base) Location: Sydney Price: $700 Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Don't use it Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: I picked up this Amp/Dac/Stand from A2A in a bundle deal with some headphones. Probably only has 10 or so hours on it. It sounds pretty decent but I don't have a use case for it. It sits 5m away from my main set-up so I don't find myself using it. A beautiful stand but a bit over my stand budget. Still have the nice box, it is obviously quite large so pickup preferred. Pictures: Available on request / if any interest
  13. Item: Auralic Gemini 1000 (Black) Location: Sydney, NSW Price: $750 Item Condition: Mint, <2 weeks old Reason for selling: Won't displace my other amps Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, Bank Transfer Extra Info: Got this in a bundle deal recently since the price was right. Don't think it will replace my current set of amps. Maybe somebody else will enjoy more than me. If not, it will still make a nice stand. Can provide photos if there is interest but it is mint condition with the nice packaging (and unused white gloves they include...). Sydney pickup preferred since it is large.
