1. I just bought a cable (3 meters) for my HD800 from ArcticCables on ebay. Appears to be good quality, it's very light weight, and flexible. This is the neotech cable. The seller was very helpful, gave me a discount and waived shipping after I spoke to them. https://www.ebay.com.au/usr/arcticcables?_trksid=p2047675.l2559 https://www.head-fi.org/threads/arctic-cables-discussion-thread.874252/

4. Not sure if you're on Facebook but you could always try this group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/BicycleMarketAU/ I had considered it for my girlfriend, but she's only 5'3".. it does look well setup, no issues with dropped chains on the narrow-wide without a clutched rear derailleur?
5. Thanks for the suggestion of the V200. I had a read of the review on Head-fi (http://www.head-fi.org/forum/thread/551173/review-violectric-hpa-v200-amp) about it, and the Lyr seemed to get favourably compared to it.. I'm tempted to get the Lyr, and put the extra cash into getting a DacMagic/Audio-GD NFB-2
6. This is my Coffee set up. Was originally going to get a Minore III for the PID and dual boiler, but couldn't go past the build quality on the BFC/Diadema machine. And the result Does anyone here do much roasting? Have you found its cheaper over the long run, as green beans can be bought for $10-15 a kilo compared to $35-40 for roasted.
7. Hi all, What amp would people recommend in the $550-800 range? I was considering the Schiit Lyr, burson HA-160, or the Talisman T-33h at the more expensive end of the bracket. Is there any other amps I should be considering? I have looked around on head-fi.org, however the technical specs they talk about start to confuse me after awhile. I'm currently using AKG K601's but will be looking to upgrade to K702 or Audeze lcd-2 later on as well. I'm in Canberra, so auditioning an amp isn't really an option. Music varies between female vocals, some indie music, to hiphop/electronic stuff as welll. Thanks for any advice..
