  1. Does it come with a power supply? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  2. Usually my first port of call. Tonight it was the kids on minecraft. Turned it off and bingo no issues. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
  3. I could well be, it's a fairly basic and cheap ($60) router that came with the Internet package. I have been thinking of upgrading. I might have to try that Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  4. My Router is in the same room and I still have the same problem. Gets annoying sometimes.Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  5. I do wonder though if it is the Internet connection or if there is a problem with CCA's ability to handle a lower WiFi or internet signal as when i stream thru my PC that runs thru the same wifi connection I have no problems with Spotify. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  6. It's not really the app. The app is only a controller. Chromecast is streaming direct from the net not from your phone or tablet.Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  7. I have had a similar issue. My theory is its my useless optus internet. When it's running slow Spotify struggles. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  8. Why would you need a chromecast if you have a Bluetooth connection?Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  9. That would depend on whether you think Hdmi is just as good as optical. Both will do the job. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  10. I got my cable from Addicted 2 Audio. There is bunch to chose from.http://www.addictedtoaudio.com.au/category/cables/ Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  11. Just thought I'd post my experience, I took my chromecast, Chord Optichord, Audio Unique RCAs and Klein DAC to a mates place that has a nice setup including a Mac Amp, panels and all the nice cables. He runs all the tunes from a Mac book pro via USB (can't remember the brand) into his DAC. At the moment my digital front end is Spotify thru Chromecast and have been wandering how much I'm missing out on? The goal of the evening was to test the difference between the Mac Book and flac via USB and my Chromecast Spotify optical setup thru my dac and RCA cables. Long story short tried many songs and we were both suprised at how little difference it was. The Mac book was a little cleaner a little more air a little tighter in bass etc etc everything was a little bit better but in no way was the chromecast left in the dust there was no night and day difference. So end result I think once I have plex setup and I can access all my flac files on the my server I'll be happy. Also I realised I would have to spend a fair whack more then a mac and decent usb cable to get that noticeable jump. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  12. I'm using Toslink optical into my DAC which is much better then the 3.5 but you need to make sure you turn on the Full Dynamic Range option to get the full benefit of it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  13. yes and no. Spotify, soundcloud, Pandora, Tuneit, Google Music Play to a degree (still trying to figure it out) Tidal doesn't support it yet. Apparently they're "working on it" but I'm not holding my breath as they've been saying that for a year. If all else fails you can cast your screen/audio thru the chromecast app and play anything your phone can play. Not sure on quality as I've just been playing directly thru Spotify app for now. People in the States have been using Plex App with some success which I'll give a go soon. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  14. no nothing it's just simple plug and play. I only had to change the power adapter from US plug to Aussie. Just used an old Samsung phone charger. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  15. I have one I bought of ebay for $65 running via optical into a Klein DAC overall I'm pretty happy with it. Running Spotify mainly but looking to use maybe Plex software/app to access my flac files on the server. Going to try a friends macbook with USB in the next few weeks.
