Can this be used to transfer DV tape to computer?
Cheers
I’m going to go ahead and guess:
(1) No if you just want to plug this into your computer as it doesn’t have a computer interface - it was offered with an add-on FireWire card but that’s not evident in the photos.
(2) Yes if you have a computer with its own analog-to-digital video input card with an input compatible with the three-BNC analogue component video output or two-BNC analogue S-Video output of the AJ-SD255.
Also if you have MiniDV cassettes you’ll need a DV-to-MiniDV cassette adapter which isn’t evident in the photos.

Hmm, promised myself I wouldn’t consider anything in less than 9.935/10 condition, oh well.

Dammit, I was really looking for one in 12/10 condition. Or 6/5, not that fussy.

“Further information: Newer model without poping issue.”
Anyone with one of the older models, interested to hear more about the poping issue - current Pope (Francis), or manifestation of one of the previous ones?

Extra Info:there is nothing on the net about these speakers.
Practice Googling, you must!
http://www.melbourneaudioclub.org.au/gm1998.htm (search page for “Lorpen” - apparently Garth Pennington was the chap behind Lorpen)
http://db.audioasylum.com/mhtml/m.html?forum=speakers&n=5270&highlight=open+baffle+speakers&r=&search_url=/cgi/search.mpl (includes old web address)
https://web.archive.org/web/20011202032109/http://www.chariot.net.au/~pennington/index.htm (using the old web address, there’s a capture in the Internet Archive - hurrah!)
So, which model do you reckon these are?

Is the power supply included? If not, what power supply is required?

New lithium battery or the nickel metal hydride (NiMH) "gumstick" battery? (I have one of these and it's still going strong too!)

That's because it is a Headphile stand!
OP updated - can't believe I didn't include that information earlier.
Outstanding stand-outing. -
Wow, the Sony PCM-501ES "PCM adapter" sounds like a fun bit of kit to mess around with: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCM_adaptor - use your VHS deck to store digital audio!

You've listed three models but only one price. $15k for the 14 karat model?

I shall send you a PM forthwith for #4! Hurrah!

Do you have the 50c in black? The silver one won't match the rest of my equipment.

There's some good detail on the differences here: http://www.acousticfrontiers.com/whats-new/2010/8/31/deqx-release-hdp-express.html
Digital out cannot be added to the HDP-Express. I'd insert an image listing all of the major differences if I knew how to insert images -
QLS QA-550 received today, with many thanks to jaspert for an excellent transaction and to SNA for providing the facility!

Are the balanced outputs on the Citypulse DA-7.2x II volume-controlled or fixed-level? Google can't seem to help me with this one (although my guess is fixed)! Thanks!

Nice! I see the captive power cable has been replaced with what looks like an IEC socket, and there’s a new RCA socket too - can you tell us what the new RCA socket does, and if there any other modifications?
