  1. I am using bluesound node to stream flac files from my synology nas to my audio system. Very good hi res music player with heaps of internet radio stations and music services including deezer, spotify, tidal, qobuz, etc..... but, it does not have a display pad to show info of what is playing. you need to use your mobile device to access the info. price is reasonable.
  2. Will you just sell the psx-r and how much? Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks Peter. Do the other models also behave the same? I cannot remember if my previous Draco also took that amount of time to boot up; I'd switched on the machine 24/7, however the power supply blew up after 3 yrs of use, triggered off the main power line and short one of my TV HDMI input.
  4. I got a cheaper Toppy model 2100. The PVR takes about 40 secs to boot and start on the TV. Is this normal? Should I leave the PVR on all the time, instead on standby mode?
  5. Humax can't do it, but Toppy manual says it will display the current time during standby mode, and the operation service during active mode.
  6. Lucky you. Most of the stores here in Perth sells this ranging from $390-$450.
  7. Does the Humax 7500 or Topfield 2400 display the current time on the front panel during standby mode?
  8. Anyone knows where is the best place to purchase this in Perth, and how much?
  9. Thanks Digitalj. Do you know if those sets purchased from Singapore works here without an external STB?
  10. If I purchase a LCD/LED TV with built-in digital tuner, would I be able to receive digital channels in Australia?
  11. Thanks again Peter. You have provided very useful information for me to make a decision on my pvr purchase.
  12. Thanks Peter for your detailed explanation. So MHEG5 is about Freeview EPG and nothing to do with digital transmission. Am I correct to say that as long as the device is capable of transmitting MPEG4, it can see view all digital channels transmitted by Freeview?
  13. Thanks. I'm sure their refund policy is limited. Major problems may surfaced after several months, and by then the refund policy could have lapsed and resort to warranty terms.
  14. Thanks. I wrote to them and asked if they could email me a soft copy of the user manual. Most manufacturers post their user manual online, but DRACO website seems very inadequately furnished.
  15. Thanks. Their website indicates it decodes MPEG4, but does that mean it can do everything a Freeview compliant unit can do in the future? I don't think I'll buy a 3D TV and watch programmes with those spectacles. What are the other things I should know? What is the MHEG5 format that the media is talking about? Thanks again.
  16. I saw this still selling in Target for $299. The built looks sturdy as compared with many other brands, but their website is skimpy. Can't seem to find online manual for this unit. Is this freeview compliant? Has anyone got any major issues?
