  1. Sendle quotes $28.95 including insurance to $1500? https://try.sendle.com/en-au/pricing I’ve used them for a couple of things. Worked fine, they used Couriers Please.
  2. Hmmm... Might have to put up with it then. Something might be slipping when it hits max zoom sometimes.?
  3. Thanks guys, When I am at 2.35:1 I am close to max zoom. I am wondering if this has anything to do with it. cashflag are you at max zoom and jeffpr are you well short of it?
  4. I have multiple aspect ratios saved in my X35 which is making great use of my scope screen. However, I have noticed that the memorised position drifts. That is, I will set it perfectly, save it, use it a bunch of times without issue then one day find it has shifted and I have a gap to the edge of my screen. This gap can be any side. Is this common? Do I just have to live with this or is there a solution?
  5. Thanks, that’s what I was thinking. Was just wondering if some might be better than others but as you say the time since I bought these will make a precise match difficult. If no one else has any better advice I will look to grab any B&W centre. Thanks for the heads up on the LCR I will avoid those.
  6. Hi all, I have some trusty B&W DM310 speakers in my lounge room. The current centre (not B&W) I want to replace. Whilst the are plenty for sale most are the new Kevlar drivers and so I am concerned about matching. So any recommendations? For sale I have seen CC6, LCR6S2 and CC3. Not wedded to these just came up in the searches. Thanks in advance!
  7. I have been waiting patiently for a second hand RX-V3079 (RX-A3050) or later to turn up somewhere as an upgrade to my existing setup. My room is currently wired for 7.2.2 + 1 zone with front height speakers and I could in future put in two ceiling mounted speakers at the back to have 7.2.4 + 1 zone. I have discovered that the Yamaha amps can't easily cater for my desire to potentially do 7.2.4 + 1 zone. You can read about what speakers I have in this thread... I just stumbled across Eastwood Hifi who have a sale on at the moment for the Onkyo TX-RZ730 for $1399. From my reading of the manual this can do 7.2.2 + 1 zone out of the box. Looking at some forums its auto-EQ might be better than Yamaha's? What am I missing? Is the power handling not on par? Something else that makes it cheap compared to the Yamaha? I have always owned Yamaha so i am out of my knowledge zone with this brand....
  8. Quick question along the same lines. If you had the AMP wired up for 9ch+RP as per page 31 of the manual can you also have a second zone connected to the speaker output? I currently have my room wired for 9.2 and that room also drives my outside speakers (in stereo). Page 34 of the manual says both the 2070 and 3070 will do that configuration but I just want to know if I can add two more speakers (driven by an external AMP) and keep everything that I have now? So I am asking if I can end up with 7.2.4 in my main room plus one zone? I don't see this option in the manual so I am thinking no and if that is the case then I would just go with a 2070 as I don't think I am gaining anything with the 3070 in my situation (in that I need the second zone). Thanks for the help!
  9. Yes that might be a problem but you do have to start an app on your phone to control it. I have one of these for a different reason and I haven’t had it randomly turn on or off.
  10. No I don't but these are on sale at the moment which would make it easier to cycle power to it. https://www.jbhifi.com.au/tp-link/tp-link-hs100-smart-wi-fi-plug/334366/
  11. Thanks. I was worried if there might be some vibration issue but yes probably can't be much worse than just hanging there. I could rig up something but thought maybe some proper bumpers would be better...?
  12. Hi Guys, I recently purchased some Focal 605s which have their own keyhole in the back for wall mounting. They are up but I have an issue that the chunky speaker cable I use is causing the speaker to sit slightly uneven on the all. Just wondering if anyone sees any issue with me putting these 12mmx5mm silicon bumpers on the back to stand the speaker off the wall a little and allow the cable more easily run down... https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Clear-Self-Adhesive-Rubber-Feet-Bumper-Dots-Door-Cabinet-Bumper-Buffer-Stop-Pads/312550039575 or these https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/20pcs-set-Self-Adhesive-Rubber-Feet-Bumper-Non-Slip-Door-Furniture-Buffer-Pad-FE/283495659471
  13. I am using a level to ensure this assuming the case is parallel to the light axis. Will do. I think I probably don’t have it perfect in yaw because it is not easy to adjust in small amounts when turning the whole thing by hand. Pitch and roll is easy because it has those adjustment screws. I will keep trying to refine it though since you are saying it should end up square. Out of interest is there a diagram that shows how lens shift works? I can’t get my head around how it can display a square image when it is not aligned with the centre of the screen... my previous projector just had one option, you had to align it to the top centre of the screen and it projected down from there....
  14. Ok I will tweak some more and get the right angle to the screen. It’s close but I’ll try and get it perfect. I assume all I can do to verify that is look for left right keystone?
  15. Yes I got a Peerless mount as recommended. Seems to be minor to me as I can see it but one or two blips of zoom and yes it is in the masking. I could try and align it left right a little better but that is hard with that mount. It has great roll and pitch adjustment but yaw is tough.
