  1. Further information: This item allows you to hook up 2 amplifiers and 2 pairs of speakers. You can then select which amp and which pair of speakers you want to listen to. Very handy if you have 2 amps and 2 pairs of speakers. Speakers connections are banana type. Since you are not allowed to come to my house, I will post it to you. Postage included! 🤑 Photos: PLEASE READ If you are advertising multiple items, you must post one bulk price only, or post seperate ads for each item If you include any reference to pricing whatsoever in this section (excluding RRP), your ad will not be approved If you don't include photographs of the actual item being sold, your ad will not be approved

  3. Further information: I bought this kit 2 months ago. It consists of: Intel NUC5CPYH NUC barebone Kit Kingston 4GB (1x 4GB) DDR3 1600MHz and Kingston A400 240GB 2.5" SATA III SSD All you need is an operating system, a monitor and a player to make it a music server in conjunction with your USB/optical DAC and your speakers. Due to its small footprint it is ideal for bedroom or study room. Please refer to manufacturer site for product details. 8. I fell in love with this magnificent Magnificat..... NO, this is not the Mary's or Bach's. But from young contemporary composers from Norway(or Swedish): Arnesen, Gjeilo and Kernis. The music is just so soothing. It is rich, melodic and the choir superb. At his difficult and extraordinary times, I found solace and calm in this disc. It's from 2L, the Norway record label. Music performed by my favourite group, the Trondheim Solistene You know what: the composers must have seen or spoken to God (your definition) to come out with this music. Hope you enjoy as much as I do.
  9. Further information: I managed to buy the same CD twice! This is the second copy received today. It consists of two CDS: one in MQA and the other as in redbook CD. The publisher Universal Music wants you to compare the two. You need to rip the MQA CD as normal and then make sure the file names end in .mqa.flac for your DAC to authenticate and render it properly. Please make sure your DAC is MQA capable else you are paying too much for a normal CD. 10. Good luck with your hunt. I'm pretty happy with the Topping D90, until the next itch....
  11. Further information: I managed to buy the same thing twice over a 2-week period. Memory failure! I just received it yesterday. Un-open, not used. The price includes postage. You can take $15 off if you come and pickup yourself. Despite its low price, I am very impressed with this DAC from Topping. It supports PCM up to 384khz and DSD to DSD256. Input is via USB. But you have line RCA output and S/PDIF out in optical and co-axial. You need to download the driver from Topping. More details can be found here: https://topping-audio.com/produkt/d10-pcm384dsd256-usb-dac/ You can also find reviews of this DAC on the net. 12. Further information: I bought this few months ago for $700. It is an excellent DAC at this price range with clear mellow sound. But I decided to sell it because I miss the MQA sound. 13. Further information: These are beautiful amplifiers made by Audiolab in UK. They are offered for sale as a combination. They might seem dated but they still work beautifully. The 8000C preamp is specially suited for people with turntables as it offers both MM and MC inputs. The 8000P power amp is not huge by today standard but it produces enough powers for most speakers. It provides minimum 100W per channel. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  14. Thanks for the suggestion. Given that I have bought the Stax, my hunt is on a matching DAD. BTW: Audiophilestyle has a review of the Stax SRM-700T energizer, details here: https://audiophilestyle.com/ca/reviews/review-stax-audio-srm-700t-amplifier-energizer-for-electrostatic-headphones-r901/
  15. I bought the entry Stax SRS-3100 which is a combination of SR-L300 headphone and the SRM-252S energiser lately. My source is an Intel NUC running ROCK (Roon on Linux). It feeds the Stax via a tiny iFi nano iDSD DAC. Do you think the iFi is doing justice to the Stax? My impression of the Stax so far is mediocre. Nothing outstanding and wonder it is the DAC. Your opinions welcome. Cheers Michael
