Hi I wouldn't call it a big scratch, it's not really visible unless you go looking for it. The manual states that the amp is 100 watts not 75.

Further Information: Supratek Cortese (phono-stage) Preamplifier finished in beautiful Jarrah timber purchased NEW by me in 2018 from Supratek. It had an upgrade done by Mick Maloney (Supratek) to the latest specifications in late 2022. Tubes are- 6N1-P (6922 ECC88,Cca,6DJ8 ,6H23 ok) E180F (6688) 6N8P/6SN7/6H8C 6L6GC, or 5881 5U4 5AR4 (GZ37,GZ32,GZ34) The phono section is designed to handle low output moving coil cartridges. Depending on sensitivity of your system, high output MC. The cartridge input range is less than 0.1mV to approx. 5mV. Next to the phono inputs is a 4 way slide switch for cartridge loading-values from the top down are 47 KOhms, 1 KOhm, 100 Ohms, 10 Ohms. To provide enough amplification for low output moving coil cartridges- the phono stage has very high gain. This is a magnificent sounding preamp with an exceptional phono-stage that is extremely reliable and noise free. I am using an Acoustical Systems Archon cartridge into the phono-stage and an SET 45 tube amp and I hear absolutely no noise from my speakers. You have plenty of life left in the tubes provided and you can experiment with different NOS tubes until your hearts content. Two umbilical cables at different lengths will be included and a standard power cable. I would prefer a local sale but would also consider shipping within Australia at buyers expense with insurance.

I did notice on the Melody Mate website that they do market a solution for USC machines although not in stock. Does this mean that solution was not compatible for these cleaners.

What if you have multiple sources and the added complications of a phono stage?

I also own a PTP Solid 9 and a Garrard 401 and the PTP Solid 9 is in a completely different league to Garrard. I have also come from some top tier turntables such as Basis 2800 Signature, Raven and Lin Lp12 and the PTP would have to be the best turntable that I have owned out all my previous turntables.
