The technics mc is better for sure but the ortofon omp30 is no slouch, it's equivalent to the 2m bronze , and it gets the most use . My 310 has unknown hours and of course is 30 plus yrs old but still sounds superb , will also get around to getting it retipped one day.

Well done, the sl10 is a great turntable. I alternate between a technics 310mc and ortofon omp30 mm cartridge on mine. I prefer it to any belt drive I've owned including my overpriced and over rated lp12 , ekos 2 lingo2 arkivb pos.

The sound anchors are very high quality stands , rock solid and heavy. ÀTC themselves recommend them. Needless to say shipping from the USA is expensive , but worth it imo if you want the best for them.

Still have mine that I bought new back in the day , rock solid reliable and has shown a clean pair of heels to some far more expensive integrateds.

I'm on the 25 mbs plan with aussie bb , never had a drop out and stream netflix , YouTube SBS on demand etc. Best isp I've been with by far and the customer service at initial setup is superb. Massive contrast to iiNet joke customer service

Yeah I like to see the drivers too. Had to buy a pair of Sound Anchor stands from the USA for my Pro version scm100's , cost a pretty penny with shipping.

You set them up with tweeters inside. And yes the classic domestic version comes with stands the pro version doesn't. The active 100's go lower in the bass and also will play louder without distortion or any feeling of being stressed at all. The active 50 play plenty loud enough though and are are a better option if you have a small room.

I made the speaker stands myself many years ago for the Dynaudio 1.3SE I had at the time , fortunately they're also a perfect fit for the ATC SCM 20asl

What a bargain , picture quality on these last gen VT60 series is superb , would never sell mine so cheaply. If you were in Perth I would have grabbed a second one for use in the games room.

I use Canare L-4E6S star quad xlr cable with gold neutrik xlr on my 100ASL. I have expensive xlr siltech , ps audio , furutech etc sitting in the cupboard that I'll get around to selling .

Superb system you have there Tobes. That Benchmark HPA4 is on my radar as a state of the art preamp and headphone amp.
