Well and truly retired from professional mathematics teaching, dairy then beef farming and finally tourism both as an administrator of a couple of small business operations and as an operator of a B&B.
I've travelled widely to over 50 countries and was fortunate to have done that well before the recent problems in some of them.
My interest in audio started in the 1940's when I was taught how to use a soldering iron. This led to the delight of listening to steam AM radio on a crystal set fed by a very high Arial precariously strung from the house to the top of a nearly pine tree.
I've now come full circle after wasting heaps on speakers, amps etc to enjoy music once again on headphones!
