  1. Sold and picked up. Thank you everyone for the interest. I still have a pair of Red Wine Audio Signature 70 mono-blocks available for anyone interested.
  2. Thanks, but those are staying with me until old age
  3. Thanks for the comments all. Yes, they are beautifully made and sound great. If I didn't have the much bigger brother D80's then I would be keeping them (shame that my D80's aren't finished in birdseye maple, but rather the standard cherry.....). 75 lbs sounds about right for the pair. Spot on regarding their stability and small children - the legs at the back make for quite a wide overall footprint, and combined with a significant portion of cabinet weight at the bottom, these are probably harder to push over than an average floor stander.
  4. Item: Proac Future One Floor-standing speakers Location: Bendigo, Victoria Price: $2900 Item Condition: Good condition. These have been well cared for. LHS speaker does have small damage to veneer only at the very bottom of the rear corners (see photos, not noticeable unless up close). Comes from non-smoking, no pets environment. All drivers are in mint/as new condition. Reason for selling: Part of a second system that I don't have the time to use Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal. Extra Info: A rare find, as these remarkable speakers don’t often come up for sale. They were a departure from the usual Proac design, with open baffle and ribbon tweeter. When new, their RRP here in Australia was $18,999 and $10K USD overseas. After owning many speakers over the years, I have a distinct preference for the high end Proac sound. These speakers have been part of a second system, however I rarely get to use even my primary system. Primary system includes Proac D80’s, which are amazing. These speakers are the next closest I have heard to them, but it’s time for them to go. After years of trying out many speakers across brands, I have not come across anything better than these used for even twice the amount of my asking price. The birdseye maple finish is stunning, and is by far the best finish on any speakers I have seen or owned. The birdseye looks almost multi dimensional from different angles and in different light. As with all Proac's, these speakers are built to a very high standard and the sound is exceptional. Stereophile review here - https://www.stereophile.com/floorloudspeakers/1000proac/index.html It is rare to find these in Australia for sale. For reference, overseas sales are typically in the $5-$6K AUD range I would encourage local pickup, with a chance to audition, and with payment of your choice. Bendigo is only 1.5 hours drive from Melbourne. I currently have them setup with a pair of Red Wine Audio Signature 70 mono-blocks, and they can be auditioned for as long as you wish (in a separate room from rest of the house). Note that I’m prepared to sell the mono-blocks to the buyer at a very reasonable price if interested. If not, after the sale I will be looking to sell the mono-blocks for anyone interested. If local pickup isn’t practical then I’m happy to look at delivery options. Questions welcomed. Thanks for looking. Pictures:
  5. Have a look around and you will see excellent reviews. This pair has barely been used and is in excellent condition. Audition most welcome for anyone within driving distance of the Bendigo region. 6. Item: Yamamoto HA-02 Head Phone Amplifier Location: Bendigo, Victoria Price: $700 Item Condition: Excellent condition Reason for selling: Don't have the time to use Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: This is an exceptional tube headphone amp, however due to the business of life, I have barely used it at all. If you read the reviews, you will see that it pairs beautifully with Audio Technica Woodies - of which I also have a pair for sale on this forum (Grandioso ATH-W1000X). Audition most welcome for anyone within driving distance of the Bendigo region. Happy to negotiate to a reasonable degree on price if both amp and headphones are purchased together. In conclusion, the HA-02 mirrors transistors in how linear it sounds and how detailed against a very low noise floor. But it's triode through and through in its staging, layering, coloring and microdynamics. Considering how intimate an experience headphone listening is, you really do want the very best this close to your ears http://www.6moons.co...moto4/ha02.html Pictures:
  7. Please note significantly reduced price now down from $2400 to $2000.
  8. Item: Proac Response D15 Speakers Location: Bendigo Victoria Price: $2400 Updated Price - $2000 Item Condition: Excellent Reason for selling: Surplus to needs Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only, Bank Deposit Extra Info: Up for sale are a pair of beautiful D15's in Cherry. I was planning to use these speakers in a second setup, however currently have 3 pairs of Proac's, and so these ones need to go. They have had very little use at all and it shows. Please look at the pictures - the drivers look perfect, as do the cabinets. I can see one miniscule mark towards the bottom right corner of the speaker on the right, however you will be hard pressed to see it even in the picture. These speakers would appeal to a new buyer, in beautiful condition and barely run in. From recollection, pricing on these when new was around $6k, so at $2400 this is a 66% reduction. As part of Proac's response (premium) series, these speakers sound fantastic, and they look amazing. I personally love the Proac sound, as do a number of other forum members, and for good reason. I am more than happy to demonstrate these to anyone in the Bendigo region, and cash on pickup if coming to Bendigo is fine. If posting, I can organise a courier to your door, and will charge $75 maximum (and will wear any extra cost). They come with original spikes and grilles, and will be posted with their original packaging material and boxes. I have bought and sold many times on this forum in previous years, and if you are interested in references from other forum members, please ask. Additionally, I can provide my ebay username with years of excellent feedback. Please note - in some of the pictures, there appears to be discolouration near the base of the speakers - this is not the case, and is reflected light only. Pictures:
  9. Proacs sold and in their new home! Thanks all for your interest. By the way - the Creek Destiny mentioned above in the first post has also been sold.
  10. Happy to be hijacked! Which models have you owned/heard?
  11. I can arrange that - with some money and a truck Surely you must be itching to replace that Plinius with something new....... Thanks again - that's a truly magical amp!
  12. Thanks Hifi_love. Yes I'm a huge Proac fan. Started with a pair of D15's that I heard years ago and went from there! I have listened to and owned a fair bit of gear, all of which brings different strengths, but nothing beats the Proacs for me. I am definitely staying with Proac after selling. The only reason that I am selling these is that I already own a pair of D80's (the next model up in the Proac line) and will probably still have them the day I die
  13. Yeah the finish is really nice looking. It's easily on par with my 80's, mabye even just a little more interesting.
