  1. Items: Anamorphic Lens - Ausssiemorphic MKIV Lens (produced by CAVX). Location: Brisbane (Herston) Will ship lens in original "storm" case; see notes for screen/mount. Price: $2300 Item Condition: Excellent - Optics in perfect condition, case in excellent condition. Reason for selling: lack of use & need to re-purpose HT area Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: Please read all of the ad before contacting me! MKIV Lens Near perfect condition - the lens elements are in perfect condition with no blemishes and there are only some slight changes to the screws from use and adjustment. I have owned a number of anamorphic lenses over the years and this is one of the best - certainly the best value on the market. If you currently use "Zoom mode" you should consider a lens which is a far superior means of viewing as it uses the full resolution of the projector; A brighter and better image. The MK4 is a 2 lens [4 element] cylindrical anamorphic lens with 1.33x horizontal expansion. The MK4 features continuously adjustable astigmatism correction to compliment the excellent CA correction. The case is precision machined black anodized aluminium and the supplied stand is even compatible with the GetGray Cineslide. The MK4 lens works at throws as short as 1.4:1 [tested]. Precision lenses cost money, They do not wear out. Roughly half retail price is a good deal so please don't bother with silly offers. Note: I have the mount in the image and you can have that for free if required. Shipping Shipping of lens included in advertised price. If you want the mount and need shipping the cost of packaging/shipping then becomes your expense.
  2. I considered a HD Fury so I could keep my existing pre-pro and pass 4k. Could that be an option for you?
  3. I'm selling an AV8801 but haven't been home to put up pics and formal add yet. With a second hand power amp it could be an excellent choice for you? If you have interest please PM me. I'd be thinking in the $700+ range. I'm interested to know wit hthe quoted figures for AVR power output and 5ch driven (x3600h) how would it cope with lower impedance if producing 80W /ch into 8ohm?
  4. Items now combined for sale and improved images and detail added. Cheers :).

Projector and lens mount A welded steel height adjustable projection and lens mount is included. Mounting holes are designed for JVC and BenQ models I have owned and are designed to enable alignment. Cinemascope Screen Perfect condition - no marks, blemishes or deterioration of projection material, frame or flocking. Purchased from OzTheatre in QLD, screen is extruded metal frame with deep black Fidelio velvet flocking. AT screen material - SMX (Oztheatre branded 'Acoustic Vision') material. 2.35m x 1m viewable area (102" diag viewing). Screen is mounted on a timber cabinet fixed to wall to provide space for speakers and acoustic treatment (I use MKSound SS150's by example). THis can also be included free on purchase. The screen is pulled into a curve on the cabinet however can be mounted flat on cabinet or wall (I have not tested if the screen frame rebounds back dead flat on release, it's just under some tension). I am including the cabinet in the sale price if you want it. Painted with automotive 2-pack paint for a room style/theme it can be scuffed and then repainted to any colour if you want to redo it. Note: 1. The cabinet is the rectangular aspect around screen only - not the cabinets under it. Price: Screen and mount are included to incentivise sale - don't bother low balling me on the lens because you don't want the extras. Precision lenses cost money, They do not wear out. Roughly half retail price is a good deal so again - don't bother with silly offers please. Shipping 1. Shipping of lens included in advertised price. 2. Shipping of Screen or projector mount is NOT included in advertised price. I am not disassembling screen for sale - you need to collect it or if you want it shipped have someone come package it and take it at your risk. and expense. The wood cabinet could easily assist in protecting it with bubblewrap and cardboard/plastic. The only caveat would be if you want the frame and don't care about the material.
  6. Price edited and also updated info in ad. Note: selling Projector, Lens, screen (see all ads) and will happily negotiate a price for the full package.
  7. It's a beautiful image I agree. Definitely a regretful sale as I must make the space available for other needs

Reason for selling: lack of use & need to re-purpose HT area Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: 1.33 ratio Anamorphic lens is in excellent condition. The case is precision machined black anodized aluminium and the supplied stand is even compatible with the GetGray Cineslide. The MK4 lens works at throws as short as 1.4:1 [tested]. 11. Hi, I have a 10" custom sub enclosure I built for my old Golf GTI and haven't found a buyer for it. I've decided to try it as a sub connected to my speaker system in my study as it currently lacks a sub. Built thread with details here for the sub - I acknowledge it's not aesthetically nice for an office but it will be behind other equipment anyway: My Golf Mk7 Sub build log I have it fitted with a full depth 10" sub - Image Dynamics IDQ10, and the amp is a 2CH Mosconi. What I am seeking is advice on a power supply to operate the amp. I've not seen any monoblock or bridgeable 2ch amps cheap so I decided I'd use the mosconi and source a power supply. I've seen DIY efforts using a computer PSU however I'd not preference that due to the need to start it on use (not sure if the action of the momentary switch can be mimicked by using the 12V trigger on my AVR). Would a decent power brick be ok? I have an old laptop supply... I need to get my head around the current capability the power supply needs. I would think the amp has capacitive storage to manage transients but that still leaves me with a ? of how beefy it needs to be Just canvassing for options from those that have given this a bash
  12. I'm using MrMc and having some success learning my way around it. Using BLack Glass skin I have smaller thumbnails on my movie wall which I wanted and it seems to have scraped my music and movies quite well. Also photos. I've not tried TV series. Edit: worked out how to change my collections by messing around with the player :).
  13. Purchased today - $217 at Officeworks with price match for Dick SMith ($229) and 10% guarantee. Have tried free version of MrMc and infuse. FOund MrMc less intuitive as it would not show up my movie art properly and I was a bit stumped with it. Seems to have way more options and flexibility than Infuse. For now I have Infuse Pro (ver 5) for $20 as I suspect that will get me through initial learning and use. It's very similar to my A400 front end.... I just wish I knew how to do a few things like re-size the thumbnail artwork (more rows onscreen) or have a different skin! Also unable to get the ATV to bitstream to my Pre-pro …. does it only decode and pass PCM?
  14. Hi I only own 1 UHD disc currently and project to 1080p. Movie is "THe Predator (2018)". When I use the UHD disc I have a bright green line vertically on the left of the image. It's apparent on a projector due to using a CIH setup so I can see it shining brightly on the menus and in film (not so much one I use anamorphic mode to stretch but it's still visible on the frame. No issue with BR discs. I couldn't work out how to enable dolby vision which I was proposed as a workaround. I am on the current latest fw picked up automatically for download. I saw some pages back a white line someone had issues with- mine looks the same but bright green. I am using the Oppo -> Marants AV8801 -> JVC X35 projector. EDIT: I just found on the interdyn support page a firmware that was released Dec 2018 to resolve this issue. I'll give it a shot
