  1. Nearly finished an 18 month ball-ache of a reno, just needing skiting boards, curtains and finishing a pair of Ultimax 12" ported subs. Speakers are a bit of a hybrid - Linkwitz LX521 with Minidsp 'cept the bass drivers which are Eminince Beta 15A I happed to have lying around - this is a low-as-possible-cost project. Amps are NAD receiver powering upper 6 channels, Minidsp PWR-ICE on the bass drivers. There is an Arcam receiver in there that will be used as pre-amp for movies. Still need to hook up rear in walls (budget Polk RC60i). Have wired for x 4 Atmos ceiling speaks but that

  4. 405mm deep, 513mm wide, 300mm high, all internal. Does have a fair few light scuffs, and 2 chipped lower corners as in photo.
  5. Further information: Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  6. Drivers bought brand new from US. As-new condition except for the fly screen grille glued to front of driver which doesn't show up in the photos - small amount of superglue used to stick it on is just noticable. 15" Bass driver are no longer for sale, but baffles can be had for for a nominal fee if collected.
  7. Bought new from the States about a year ago. They are in as-new condition, though I have glued fly screen to front gasket - you can just make out in photos but don't easily see superglue with the eye, and wouldnt be visible at all if rear mounting drivers. Have confidence that nary a finger has ever touched the cones, and they have been gently used. Current price lander would be AU$300. The baffles themselves I would sell for an extra $80 if interested. (larger cutout 332mm for rear mounting Eminince Beta 15A or equivalent) I've been quite happy with th
  8. Good points. Not sure how much weight it could take. The height between each shelf is 300mm.
  9. Yeah sorry should gave posted - 405mm deep, 513mm wide, 300mm high, all internal. Cheers B

  11. I bought these brand new this year and never used, one box opened to have a look, the other still sealed. I'm selling because the plan for the room we're building has changed from Atmos 7.1, and I want hight speakers to same brand as LCR. Price is for a pair. I have 2 pairs available if you need 4 speakers.
  12. I bought this new about 3 years ago from Rio.com.au. I bought 3 of these centres for LCR. My new room and setup will be DIY dipole 4.0 so this not needed. The other two have been sold. I was planning on having them professionally sprayed white to keep my wife happy - the drivers were taken out and the cabinet was then not handled as carefully and got a few light scuff marks on it which are not able to be captured in photo but for top right corner. The drivers are in as new condition, and all have permanent grills so have never had a finger laid on them. The speakers were only ever lightly
  13. Built this year, all drivers bought brand new. I'm selling as new listening room is going to be a joint music/dance space and my wife is pushing for something that takes up a bit less floor space. 12mm wool felt attached to front baffle and rear basket with double-sided tape can be easily removed. Never built grills but I did instal neodymium magnets into the front baffle from the rear to leave the possibility for baffles. There is fibreglass fly screen protecting the drivers so grills would be cosmetic only. I estimate raw costs were bit north of $900 incl custom ivo
  14. I bought these new about 2 years ago and they have been sitting safely up on the wall used as rear surrounds ever since. I like these dipole rears for 5.1, but I've changed front speakers and want speakers with matching drivers as rears. (selling new for $1450 at Melbourne HiFi)
  15. Item: miniDSP 4x10 Hd or 10x10 Price Range: 2/3rd of new price Item Condition: New or Used Extra Info: Please don't forget to report your post as FOUND when possible. (You can now delete this text).
  16. Thanks both. Dave, what driver runs under your 10F? Do you have any passive XOs in there or are you all active?
  17. Thanks SS. PLLXO would be a good idea cept I'm using an integrated amp. What you building with the RS225? I might build the transmission line for it one day, plans as recently posted on the diyaudio thread.
  18. I'm about to build an OB, 60cm wide, with Eminence Beta 15" bass, Dayton RS225 8" lower/mid, 10F/8424 upper-mid, and Peerless OX20SC00 tweeters. The 15" will be powered by DSP amp with XO and Eq. The rest will be passive. What I'm wondering is whether I should high-pass the 8" RS225? What would be the difference in ultimate power handling/SPL? I want to be able to play perhaps 95db in 7x7m room. If I should use HP, what frequency? 200hz? I'm guessing dipole baffle roll off would start somewhere between 200-300hz so wouldn't make sense to xo < 200hz?
