  1. I actually found a 63" samsung PS63b680 at wow for $2999 seemed too good a deal given that was the cheapest price I could fi the 58b850 For
  2. Unfortunately I can't fit a 65" but I think i'm going to pick up the 55" Sony with the bonus ps3 on the weekend
  3. There are some amazing deals around at the moment. I know this is starting to go off topic a bit but the prices are making it hard to find a stand out. I've spotted these two in the last few says Panasonic 54s10a - $1796 jb hifi Sony 55ex500 - $2100 DJ (including bonus PS3 from Saturday) It's making it much harder to justify the additional cost to jump to the 58"
  4. Do we know what the differences are between the old and new models? I've also been looking at the panasonic in 54 and 58 sizes. They look very impressive but ive found the picture to be a little grainier on the panasonic than the samsung models
  5. Yeah I've heard of the issues, I've got a samsung now and it's been fantastic so I'm a little torn, the other I was considering is the 54" Panasonic but I think the Samsung looks a lot better.
  6. I spotted it for $2300 for a new in the box, not really interested in a shop model considering the number of hours they burn away every day.
  7. Hi Junkmail, The PS58B550 was the model number I was looking at, has yours died?
  8. I actually checked them out on the weekend... I actually wrote a blog post about it if you're up for a bit of a rant, but basically I think the first gen ones aren't going to be for me.
  9. Hi Guys, I'm currently working through a renovation of our lounge room and the long and short of it is that my dual display projector/TV combination isn't going to work any longer and I'm going to replace it with a single display that's a bit larger (TV is currently 40"). I spotted at 58" Samsung that looked fairly impressive and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the unit. In* the new arrangement my viewing distance will be ~3.6m Thanks in advance.
  10. It's hard to pass up the convince of that remote ap on the apple devices, especially for background listening
  11. Spotted these this morning... seems too cheap would have to think it's a fake seller http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Monitor-Audio-S5-Speakers_W0QQitemZ250476726198QQcmdZViewItemQQssPageNameZRSS:B:SRCH:AU:101
