  1. Further Information: Line Magnetic's biggest horn speakers they make, purchased in early 2021 to display at the Melbourne Hifi show. I had to terminate the distribution agreement with Line Magnetic so these never made it to the show. They have been used in our workshop so are perfectly functional however dusty and may be a little bruised in places. They come with the grills, cables and manuals. We no longer have any use or room for these anymore and I want to move them on ASAP so am open to offers/swaps/proposals - send me something and you may be surprised. Strictly pickup only and you'll need to organise this yourself - note they are around 1m wide, 1m deep and a little over 2m tall. Photos below of them setup in my listening room and final shot showing them waiting for you in our workshop.
  2. A few things have changed since my last post... I've discontinued the Line Magnetic partnership, gotten rid of all their equipment and moved on to an "end game" tube system that I've coveted for a long time. I know this journey is never completely finished, but I'm done for now. So, the final setup is: Kuzma TT with Phasemation cartridge RCM phono stage Auralic server/streamer AM DAC/1 AM RT-3 preamp AM 833S amplifiers Wilson Benesch Torus sub/amp Shunyata Research Hydra feeding the amplifiers PSAudio P10 feeding the preamp and sources Zu Audio Omen Def with tweeter upgrade All held up by Esthetica racks made to order from @Hydrology I've also added some old Amperex Bugle Boy and RCA tubes to the mix and listening to 60 year old is pretty special. Some photos as no post is complete without something to look at...
  3. Extra Info: I've always wanted to try a set of these to back up some valve amps.
  4. Item: 833A tube pair Price Range: Happy to consider offers Item Condition: New or NOS please Extra Info: I'm running some amps that use the 833A tube and would really like to try some different tubes and build up some stock of spares.
  5. Looks awesome @DavidH71 - what's the physical height and width of the monitor when it's in place? This would be so cool to be able to squeeze into my rig!
  6. I thought I should share my new setup. Motion is the way to go! The GSI wheel is cool, but the grips are a little uncomfortable so gloves are a must for a long session. Hydraulic pedals are very close to real world. G-belt systems are cool, but problematic and currently not working correctly. I have the shifter setup in LHD configuration to replicate my cup car.
  7. That things looks like a good upgrade. I've got the 49" integrated into my setup and it would be interesting to see the overall difference in height and how this affects wheel mounting under the screen.
  8. I've heard this amp and it's an awesome piece of kit. Also, the seller is a highly trustworthy guy so purchase with confidence. GLWTS!
  9. Hey guys - new to Auralic and have an Aries G2.1 which I'm planning to add an SSD to. Any tips/tricks on what size and the most efficient way to get the files on there? It looks like over the network might be the easiest..
  10. Further Information: A bespoke offering made by @Grizzly for me a while back - the Grizzly special Audio Rack. Long and low - the dimensions are 550mm Deep x 2600mm Long x 390mm High with around 320mm between the shelves. Only the rack is offered for sale, however if you like the preamp and monos feel free to make me an offer. All other gear is gone. Pickup only - I'll help you load it.
  11. I'm going to need more information on this one! What the?!?! @mwhouston
  12. Thanks for the plug @Mendes, I hope you are well. I stopped distributing these a while ago and closed down Line Magnetic Australia - the factory was grey importing/exporting non-compliant 220V units but lied and told me they weren't, even creating letters signed by their President claiming as much which I then passed onto clients.. The units are good, just the company ethics don't align with mine. @Riblau I have one more 845 ex-demo unit left in stock - shoot me a PM if this interests you.
  13. Edited ad "Happy to ship around Australia via TNT at asking price negotiated/fair price (apologies - forgot to change this when I dropped the price from 15k!)" My bad. Apologies for any expectations/confusion. Shipping this thing will definitely be possible, but may require the cost to be shared depending on where it is going. Cheers, Cam
  14. It's very subjective and everyone's ears are different. For me - this one..
  15. They are both very different animals and very hard to compare. The pre/mono set has more flexibility of course and can operate fully balanced if that is your thing, but this is a pretty special piece as well.
  16. Now sorted, though if you have anything interesting or NOS, please let me know.
  17. Item: 833A tube pair or single Price Range: Let me know what you want for them Item Condition: New or Used is ok Extra Info: Trying something different so need to source a single or pair of 833A tubes.
  18. Further Information: This set is the Zhuhai factory's best efforts at a fully floating/balanced preamplifier and 845 SET mono blocks. Pricing reduced for ex-demo. Pricing includes Stereonet 4% fees Happy to ship around Australia via TNT at an agreed price - there are 3 boxes and they are heavy.
