They might be tiddlers, but weigh (by far) the most out of any speakers I've owned (7kg each); the magnets must be huge! In terms of sound, these speakers are very open and transparent. They are the most "real" sounding speakers I have ever heard - zero colouration. Being sealed boxes, they don't produce as much bass as some of the ported speakers in this category, but what bass you do get is amazingly tight and punchy. They really come to life with 100+ watts of amplification. They will come packaged in the original box. twwen2 Posted August 16, 2012 Author Share Posted August 16, 2012 I started off using them with the Brio-R, and the pair produce beautiful mids and clear, crisp highs. Bass was a bit shy though. Now I've got the Musical Fidelity A3CR driving them, and they fill out nicely in the lower registers.
