Hong Kong's annual AV and Head-Fi Show held at the Hong Kong Expo and Convention Centre in Wan Chai attracts an estimated 30,000 strong crowd each year.

Typical for this time of year in Hong Kong, the ridiculous humidity combined with packed rooms and air conditioning working overtime, combines for an often unpleasant experience.

Fortunately, the array of high-end gear from around the world and the well set up and executed displays makes it all worthwhile.

As Asia's answer to the king of global Hi-Fi shows, Munich's High End Show, in my opinion, this venue is much better than Munich's MOC for ease of getting around, catering options and an overall better presentation.

High-end audio and Hi-Fi, in general, is well and truly alive and well in Asia. Many manufacturers are reporting that China right now is the strongest market across the globe.

Where the Munich High End show's attendance largely consists of global press and international retailers and distributors, the attendance of the Hong Kong AV and Head-Fi Show seemingly attracts larger numbers of local consumers.

Please enjoy our gallery of the sights and sounds of the 2018 Hong Kong AV and Head-Fi Show.
