TIVOLI AUDIO IS ALL GO IN AUSTRALIA

Eighteen years after launching the iconic Model One radio, Tivoli Audio is enjoying renewed success as a company that has recently reinvented itself with products that not only embrace current technology but also deliver on consumer's need for convenience and connectivity.

Tivoli's new ART Series range of wireless, multiroom audio embraces the iconic styling of the brand's timeless appeal.

StereoNET was invited to an event held at the Rydges Hotel in North Sydney recently where we were given a demonstration of the complete ART range, set up to replicate multiple audio zones. All controlled via Tivoli's recently updated intuitive iOS and Android app, the range now offers a seamless way to fill your entire home with music. We were left most impressed with the genuine high-fidelity, true stereo sound on offer.

The future for Tivoli Audio is also in good hands following the recent appointment of Paul De Pasquale as CEO of Tivoli Audio. With formal training in audio engineering and design, Paul started with the company in 2006 in customer service, working his way through a series of promotions over the next decade that now sees Paul at the helm.

To celebrate the launch of the new product range and renewed global marketing, Tivoli Audio has released a brand new Australian website.

One of the most anticipated products from Tivoli Audio in 2018 is a standalone Wi-Fi CD player called simply the Model CD, and a swank all-in-one music system called Music System Home.

The Model CD Wi-Fi CD player comes finished in Tivoli’s signature wood cabinet and has a touchscreen LED panel. The Model CD will connect to a home network allowing users to stream CDs to speakers within Tivoli's ART collection.

A handy stereo line output also allows the Model CD to connect to the inputs of a traditional amplifier or receiver. Available in walnut, white and black, the Model CD ships just in time for Christmas this year and is expected to sell for $449 RRP.

Most impressive of all though was the Music System Home which is inspired by the modern furniture styles of the 1960s.

The tabletop unit with impressive stature is equipped with AM/FM, DAB+, Bluetooth, CD, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, line input and output, and best of all, Amazon Alexa voice assistance. For those not interested in voice control, Alexa can also be completely disabled.

You can of course also use Tivoli Audio's excellent ART Series app for full control and to stream music across compatible products throughout your home.

Internally it has a four-channel amplifier driving two 3.5-inch full range drivers and two .75-inch tweeters. The advice we can give is don't underestimate the size of those speakers.

And As we barked commands to Alexa, we can report that the Music System Home produces rich, full-bodied music that is highly capable for your lounge or dining space and will look stunning as a feature on a sideboard or table.

Available in walnut, white or black wood finish, and featuring Danish made Gabriel fabric, the Music System Home will ship this month and will sell for $1,299 RRP.

Gary Tye, Australian Manager - Tivoli Audio

Bolstering the Australian arm of Tivoli Audio, well-known to the industry already following an extensive career at Audio Marketing, Sue Mason and Nigel Macara have been appointed to look after administration and customer support.

Finally, a convincing demonstration of a 2.1 system comprising a Model One Digital, along with an Art Series Cube and Model Sub as one zone,  and the Music System Home as a second zone was the perfect example of multi-room, wireless sound that is both very pleasing and incredibly easy to use.
