M2tech Now Available in Australia

Radiance Audio Visual, distributors of brands including Chord Electronics, Kharma, Vicoustic and many more, have announced their exclusive distribution rights for the M2tech brand in Australia.

With the computer and desktop audio categories showing significant growth in recent times, M2tech, based in Italy, has been pioneering products in this field for quite some time.

Their impressive product range includes DAC's, USB to Audio Converters, Headphone Amplifiers and other digital audio products that have already proven popular within enthusiast circles around the globe.

What some companies build into full size components, M2tech manages to condense into small USB dongle style products, remarkably without sacrificing quality or functionality.

For example, the M2tech HiFace is a palm-sized, plug-and-play asynchronous DAC delivering up to 384kHz/32 bit playback and compatibility. For the travelling desktop audiophile, this is good news indeed, particularly with the price tag of just $350 AUD RRP.

Chris Strom, Operations Manager for Radiance AV told StereoNET, “we discovered with the immensely popular Chord Electronics Hugo headphone product that there is a strong demand out in the consumer world for quality music that is portable. Headphones have been selling well for some time now but devices that adequately portray music are limited. M2tech are on the cutting edge of portable and desktop audio technology, offering highly capable products at very affordable pricing for the consumer”.

“We believe M2tech products allow listeners to enjoy music in high quality, and pioneering products such as these are certainly the way of the future. Radiance AV is proud to be distributing M2tech”.

    applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
