Klipsch Delivers All-in-one Vinyl Solution

Klipsch have released an all-in-one solution dubbed 'Music Crate' as a simple solution for playing back vinyl. Powered speakers featuring a built-in phono pre-amp combined with a Klipsch turntable manufactured by Pro-Ject will have you spinning vinyl in an instant.

The R-15PM powered monitors are literally feature packed with an integrated phono pre-amp, Bluetooth® wireless technology, digital optical, analog RCA and USB audio inputs. There's also a wired sub output if you want to add a little more bottom end response. The RP-15PM’s dedicated IR remote allows easy access to system features such as dedicated source selection, track controls and play/pause options.

Just like all Reference loudspeakers from Klipsch, the R-15PM features their proprietary 90°x90° Hybrid Tractrix® Horn technology coupled with Linear Travel Suspension (“LTS”) aluminium tweeters.

StereoNET reviewed the R-15PM speakers recently which you can read here.

With the R-15PM's, Klipsch have managed to put together an astoundingly good value for money pair of speakers. They offer excellent sound from the majority of their many connection options, they look decent and are well priced.

Pro-Ject’s special edition Primary turntable is expertly hand-crafted to extract every last detail from the vinyl grooves of your favorite LPs. Packing a low vibration synchronous AC motor, an 8.6” aluminum tone-arm, and an audiophile-grade, low-distortion Ortofon OM 5e magnetic cartridge.

Shelden Walker, Audio Sales & Product Manager for Australia's Klipsch distributor, Powermove, told StereoNET:

No pre-amp required, no receiver needed, and no need to mess with counterweights or skating adjustments. Find a wall outlet, setup the turntable and speakers, plug them in, and flip the switch: you’re ready to rock.

With the resurgence of vinyl and a whole new audience perhaps not versed with vinyl playback, this simplicity is what has been lacking with products currently in the market. Kudos Klipsch.

Local pricing has not yet been announced for the Music Crate package, however the R-15PM speakers currently sell for $1399 RRP.

Klipsch is distributed in Australia by Powermove.
