Been spending a lot of time with this 5th album of their's, and really enjoying it.

After really not getting into March Fires, 'Brace' is a wonderful return to form.

Harder edged, less poppy, better subject matter - an all round better listen.

All praise the guitar on this Sunday afternoon. 3 very different styles.

Everyone is talking about it on another thread. I thought I'd be a doer.

Donald Fagen - The Nightfly

NM original 1982 pressing on Warner Bros, Japan.

Struck gold with the Japanese pressing - sensational enough for me to decide not to get the new 45 remaster.
Much much better than the German or US copies.

I've finally found a pristine copy of this on vinyl. French pressing via Discogs. Along with Eve, one of the best female hip-hoppers

Great album that Prof.  Funny how she is very popular in France.    Anyway, you have inspired me to play some French hip hop.

I would find it harder to think of a better final album than this.

Very much in the vein of 'Old Ideas' and 'Popular Problems', but absolutely!  A credit to the man.

I read that he was working from a wheelchair most of the time.

We'll miss him.

A great album for sure,  Leonard suffered terribly with back pain whilst recording, his son was with him the whole way.

Chanced upon this gem in Kuala Lumpur flea market recently, US pressing, sounds great like old records do! Still in shrink-wrap too.

One does not know what treasures there are in dem crates!

And look at the lineup...
