I feel like it could fall into the electronic category, but the new Dirty Projectors self titled LP is great.

Picked up a vinyl copy last week, gave it the old revirginiser treatment and had a listen over the weekend, blew me away!

Tor - Blue Book

This collection of Trip Hop grooves is def helping to wind down the working week.

Vinyl also available - here.

Finally managed to hear this in the morning and it has been on repeat since. Good background grooves while working around the house.

Jlin: Black Origami

While sampled music is usually not my go, this rhythmic percussion led album is quite appealing. Came across this on bandcamp, listening on Tidal.

Great artwork too.

Great to see tidal exploring a little deeper from their commercial side .

Various - In Dub We Trust -- a choice collection of 30 dub techno and deep house tracks, almost 4 hours worth, released back in 2012 on the Deep In Dub net label. The 320kb MP3s are hosted on archive.org here, or you can download the FLAC files from Bandcamp here for  €0.60 (I may get the FLAC files to see if they really are lossless or just re-encoded MP3).

edit: ... I bought the FLAC version but the high frequencies are cut off around 19 kHz or less so it looks like an MP3 transcode. Grrrr. But the MP3s are good enough for the price.

What a coincidence, I just put this on myself as I read my notifications.

yes it's very much the same with drawn out beats in parts and haunting pads .

Vocals were sampled from the original film .

Might just have to get it then, I read the synopsis(?) on the album sounds very clever - any other biosphere reccomendations ?
