Stereonet unusable on mobil devices

A bit sad but the forums are pretty much unusable on mobile devices. Way too many pop ups and ads, oh well all the extra members come at a price I suppose.

No need to jump to conclusions.
Looking into it.

When you click the goaway button it says you can report the ad to google......

It's like being given a red button not to push.... :fear:

Must be some automatic thing in that if you reach a certain number of subscribers or members you get a higher level of advertising, I'm hope the money is rolling in from the ads.

Seems way worse on Apple iPhone, ads on top and bottom of screen. With all the positive talk on Apple products by mods here it makes you wonder.

I think that the solution is to stop using Mobil devices and to start using mobile devices ;)

There are Google Ads in our mobile template only, but they are unobtrusive and you simply slide it down and it stays down.

The Google Ad seems to be gone on my iPhone now.

With all due respect as I completely understand the need for advertising to keep the lights on and such,  I did happen to find it kinda annoying to have to keep swiping it down every time I load a new page.

Apart from this little annoyance the community seems to be flourishing including its new members as well, keep up the great work !! :)

I'm running a test to see if it's worth it. I doubt it is/will be.

I dunno, I kinda think a Mobil Device is possibly not a bad option for browsing SNA.... ;)
