SQ has stepped up considerably. Each table have their own strengths and not so strengths and could live with any of my 3 top tables - TW Acustik AC-3 & Exclusive P3. Early days and with some further tweaks in the coming months, it should be the best sounding table overall. As you are well aware, the tonearm is not the limiting factor anymore - which is ultimately what I was looking for. Guest Hensa
With the lovely Victor QL-A75 heading off to make music at another SNAer's place, a vacancy at chez Hensa needed to be filled. I decided to continue with vintage direct drive from Japan... Enter the Denon DP-60L. Having seen and heard Nap250 's in action, it wasn't a difficult decision. Sounds wonderful with the ZYX R50 Bloom mounted on the S arm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sadly mine didn't come with the S arm so I am limited to lighter carts.
Guest Hensa
Did you get the straight arm as well? Sadly mine didn't come with the S arm so I am limited to lighter carts. Came with 2 straight arm wands and the different counterweight to match the lighter wand. One wand needs all tags resoldered and the other needs one so S wand till I get them sorted. Guest Hensa
Hifido? Awesome having 2 additional arm wands. Not Hifi Do this time - went through Noppin, so Yahoo Japan... Not as well packed as Hifi Do, although platter, arm and dustcover had all been removed and it was well enough packed to arrive fully intact.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How does it compare to the others in your collection? Early days but it's right up there at this stage. May be even better when I get the straight wands up and running. I reckon it's at a similar level as the PL50L so, as you know, pretty damned good![emoji3]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

TerryO
Well several weeks ago I met Greg at his place while checking out one of his CD players that was for saleand he said before we left we should have a listen too one of his turntables. Little did I know it was a secret plot to turn me back in time to before CD's. First I went down the path of a Technics SL-7 off of eBay for $200 plus a new cart and stylus and the trap had gone from being set to sprung. Then I wondered how much better our system would sound with a much better turntable and cartridge. So after a few discussions with Greg it kind of moved up a notch or two and below is where it ended up today when a big cardboard box arrived from the land of the rising sun. So pictured below is this great looking and sounding Denon turntable that was unpacked and set up this evening. I don't mind admitting I owe Greg a large debt of gratitude for guiding me in this general direct and then making it all happen. Greg thank you very much for all the effort you have put in to make this happen. cheers Terry Edited June 20, 2017 by TerryO
Guest Hensa
Yep, two huge boxes within a week and two lovely Denon DP-60's! I sure had some explaining to do to my better half and I'm not convinced she'll believe me until Terry actually carts his off!![emoji3]And here it is (on the right) with its sibling:Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
