These superb Yamaha NS-1000 Speakers are finished in Ebony. Originally sold by us in 1979 according to the original warranty certificate which we have along with the original instruction booklet. A very solid speaker with extensive internal bracing and robust cabinet construction (weight is approximately 31 Kgs each!). This model was unique in that Yamaha pioneered a technique allowing it to use beryllium in the manufacturing of the speaker domes (mids and tweets); a material highly regarded by engineers being both very rigid and lightweight.
