catman
G'day all, I'm sure that I've mentioned this before, but I really like the sound of the Shure M97xE 'body' mated with the N92E stylus designed for the entry level Shure M92E phono cartridge. It fits perfectly, and although it is 'supposed' to be an inferior elliptical stylus, I honestly think that it sounds better than the standard OEM N97xE stylus. No, there is no 'dynamic stabiliser' with the N92E stylus, but that matters not to me. It performs beautifully on the M97xE body, tracking at 1.25 grams and without the slight upper treble roll off of the N97xE stylus. It works fine for me! Regards, Felix.

People should buy and listen to what they like and not succumb to the prognostications of the Golden Ears brigade. There are ( and always have been ) many bandwagons doing the rounds in this hobby and this shows no signs of abatement.
