PicoWattson Posted April 17, 2017 Share Posted April 17, 2017 (edited) I'm trying to find a good music player app to cast (stream using Wi-Fi) my music library on my Android phone through my main system Dac. Unfortunately the Samsung S6 doesn't seem to have the gain via chromecast (or even via a Dragonfly Red for that matter) to TV then Toslink into Dac. My iPhone internal digital gain is much greater. Is anyone streaming their android phone library content to their main stereo system and if so what device and player app have you found to give you satisfactory results. Also what Wi-Fi receiver are you using? I have a Pure Jongo A2 receiver on order which has coax out and uses it's own proprietary player software loaded to android device. Anyone using an iPhone with Airport Express, and is anyone able to stream higher than red book? A bunch of questions I know but it's a bit of a jungle to an old school stereo buff like me.
