Guest Auribus
@amisty One of The Doors' releases is in fact a hybrid SACD: The Best Of The Doors - The Doors (Audio Fidelity, cat #: AFZ5 206). It has a standard 2 channel CD layer, a 2 channel SACD layer and a multi-channel SACD layer. PS. I could be wrong but the copy of Waiting For The Sun - The Doors looks like the Analogue Productions hybrid SACD ?(cat #: CAPP 74024) with a standard 2 channel CD layer and a multi-channel SACD layer. (Sorry for butting in) Edited March 31, 2017 by Auribus Corrected title.
ZEN MISTER
3 of The Doors and the Joe Walsh are in fact Audio Fidelity, ( which grew from DCC, but in fact are different.) That is not a comment on desirability, just clarification . Billy
Guest Auribus
@Zen Mister you're quite correct, Morrison Hotel - The Doors and The Soft Parade - The Doors (and "But Seriously, Folks..." - Joe Walsh) are all Audio Fidelity manufactured discs. When DCC Compact Classics ceased operating, the owner Marshall Blonstein then founded Audio Fidelity. The style of artwork for both labels have similarities.
