I used it with the Metrum DAC above with superb results. Up to 96k, but it will do a very good job for the money for anything up to that. From memory, it had general upgrade on many components, but it also added a new clock to deal with multiples of 48kHz as well as 44.1kHz and thus much better performing on some sample rates than the original V-link.
