OCD Posted March 8, 2017 Share Posted March 8, 2017 (edited) Hey...a quick(maybe dumb) question, I have a Denon X4000(used as a pre for HT/movie duties) and a Parasound P5 pre amp(for music duties)....hooked upto an Elektra Theatron 7 channel Amp with 12v trigger in and out. I want to start using the 12v triggers from the Denon and P5 to turn the Elektra on. However to watch movies I dont need to turn the P5 on and to listen to music I dont need the Denon on... sooo...is it just a matter of getting a 3.5mm mono plug to 2 3.5mm mono jack/cable splitter to plug into the Elektra 12v in and plug the 12v trigger cables from the Denon and P5 into that? Nothing I should be aware of? Eg: Power running back up the cable to the component not swithed on?
