I did think that when I read your question. I was also going to recommend Yamaha for the affordable. There's a current model Philips that doesn't break the bank and offers great sound for what a soundbar is. Can't remember the model number sorry. Way out of the budget I know, but for interests sake, the Pulse Soundbar is so HiFi like it's amazing what they've achieved from a "bar" now.
