Anyone here experienced with Bang and Olufson BEOLAB 90?

Funny you say that. I listened with my ears but didn't really form an opinion about their looks even though I took a photo of them ;-)

I'm guessing that 'butt-ugly' is going to be a small minority's view on this speaker, just like you get on all things beautiful.

There is s pair in the Perth B&O store.

I popped in on my last break and had a listen. These puppies are impressive, but, Hotel California!

I think they look pretty peculiar, from the photos I've seen. Perhaps they look different in real life.

 

In the photos, they look as though someone has crumpled them up, like a piece of paper.

 

As for what they sound like, I would have to listen, but I am not overly encouraged by the fact they have gone down the Class D route, as I'm yet to hear a Class D amp which sounds good, particularly in the mid and high frequencies.

The rebadged Bel Canto Ref1000s sounded spectacular when I heard them driving the Cabasse Spheres. Just stunning.

 

Although, it must be said those are also a very love-it-or-loathe-it design.
