krnjoejoe
Hi everyone I am moving in to an apartment and need to downsize my setup. Currently I am running: - Cambridge Audio 650A - Micromega MyDac - Epos M5 speakers Mainly just looking to replace the 650A with a desktop amplifier. Are there any desktop amplifiers that you have used in a similar setup and can recommend? Not having used/demo'ed any desktop amplifiers before, my main concern is whether the power output is sufficient to power the M5's. Would something like the Audioengine N22 b sufficient? RockandorRoll
I'm running Monitor Audio Silver 2's with a NAD D7050 with surprisingly good results on my desk. They are a bit more sensitive than the Epos, but the NAD still might be worth looking at.

Thanks RockandorRoll, but a little out of my price range unfortunately
minbin
I don't see why you can't continue to use the 650A on desktop apart from maybe lack of space? I am running a similar sized Arcam A19 on my desk. A demo unit of D7050 is available here for almost half price if you're interested.
